Ritajance, If you loved my post because you think it is against Behold than I ask you remove it. My post is not against Behold. it is a matter of truth. There was a time you claimed to hear the word of God coming through Behold. Behold has not changed but perhaps he may consider these words. Blessings!
Why would I do that?

That was your testimony was it not?

Try not to make assumptions based on what?

Ah I see it now...where you got personal with him, so I took my heart emoji off and explained further down...I also edited the part where you got personal with the member, I’m not interested in any of that.
I am not going there with this member, I know exactly what I did and the Lord showed me I was being led by my emotions...that was a while back...I now only look to God via His Spirit to lead me into God’s truth.

I follow no one, I am Spirit led. @GTW27

We are all growing and maturing in Christ daily....at least we should be...

I was brought up being led by my emotions at a very young age....I’ve had to distinguish the difference between the two....taken years for God to bring me to that understanding of being led by my emotions..

Being led by my emotions was a HUGE part of my life as it was all I’d ever known, then along came God and slowly helped me understand the difference between being led by one’s emotions.....then being led by Gods Living witness His Holy Spirit....I have been set free from following my emotions...Praise God!

If you have never been led by your emotions , then you wouldn’t understand what is being said, it’s who you are , your identity, the wrong identity..to long a story to explain plus it’s way off topic.

I am now led by Gods Living witness His Holy Spirit....who doesn’t live in me.

He indwells my spirit, that’s what must be Born Again “ our spirit “....my spirit has been birthed into Christ’s Spirit...” Spirit gives birth to spirit “...just as His word says....he indwells my heart/ spirit.

This is the part I agreed with @GTW27 ..I never read the other bottom part...which is between you two..

So I give you a thumbs up, for this as it’s your testimony is it not?

You are mistaken.

I dont read mind, but i do discern them.

Spiritual Gift #7, and i have had this since '1991, when God gave to me, when i was sitting on a porch swing, in the USA.
It was 6am, it was summertime, and i had my Bible and i was reading meditating and i asked God..

"Father, why is that this one say this, and that one says that, and the church says the opposite, and the next one says, something different"..

And God said...>"Spiritual Gift #7"........now you will be able to understand it.

So, that is not "mind reading" but it is mystical and it is powerful, and its never wrong.

Oh I know he Loves me...I am Born Again of incorruptible seed that liveth and endureth forever...I pray that you know He Loves you also.

There is Nothing that can compare to the Love Of God, one knows the Love Of God in their spirit....the written word isn’t Gods Living witness His Holy Spirit.

We know the Love Of God in our hearts/spirit.

You can read how much he loves you in the written word, but, we need to, know His Love in our Hearts/spirit.i knew that when my spirit was Born Again by Gods Living witness His Holy Spirit.

When Spirit gives birth to spirit....my spirit fell in Love with Gods Spirit the night I became Born Again.

The written word doesn’t make our spirit Born Again...that’s a supernatural act that only God can do via His Spirit.

Those are your words, not mine.

I posted that Denominations are "man made" and Christianity is God made.

Now, some of them are of the Devil.
Thats very true, so in their case, they are "evil".

What you like is what you chose to Like, or believe, and that is your Free Will.

Free will is choice.

So, you get to chose what you think, say, believe, and do.

You are mistaken.

I dont read minds, as you are describing.... but i do discern them., and i know people's thoughts.

Spiritual Gift #7, and i have had this since '1991, when God gave to me, when i was sitting on a porch swing, in the USA.

You are talking again about what a body of believers can accomplish

Im strictly talking about... REVEALING, that there is inherent in any denomination, the fact that its "man made" and the man who made it, has his or her Theology, in control of it, and the members, are of THAT belief system,

Have you ever watched Charismatics try to slander Baptists, and vice versa. ????

That is not God caused, that is..>"we believe this" and "you dont"...

That is Denomination THINK, having a fist fight, and God is not found there., and that is exactly what defines a "christian forum".
Its nothing less, most of the time.

FLESH is found there, as "here is what WE BELIEVE", vs "what YOUR Denomination says'.

There are no Denominations in Heaven.

God is not a Calvinist.

My ""Agenda" Thread was deleted, so... what i can tell you is that i do have an Agenda.

ABSOLUTELY !

I am here to teach Paul's Theology, and To Lift up the Cross of Christ.

I do this in LIFE, in front of PEOPLE< students, Churches, and on Forums.

Its what Paul did...and He told us to be a follower of Him.

Here i am, as Here He is..

I'm still trying yo figure out how one can worship the Bible.
God gave us a Book. It's just like a love letter. If someone you love gives you a love letter,I would think you would treasure it and read it over and over.
You don't jump from what God has written to Oh He talks to me all the time. There are other beings that talk as well. But the test is if they speak according to Light. Where is the Light?
Have you quit reading your Bibles, depending more on your thoughts?
Good points.

Good points.

For me the Bible is like a divine yard stick with which we measure thoughts and feelings.

It was never meant to replace the Holy Spirit within.

In fact without the Holy Spirit within revealing it's Truth, it becomes dead letters, or worse when we embrace prideful deception.

His judgement will lay every thought bare and will not contradict what He inspired and made available to us.

At the same time we must be careful not to attribute to the Book some superstitious power while at the same time be deeply thankful for it and love it deeply for what He brings through it.

Some seem to elevate the book and credit it with Godly attributes - this then becomes spiritual idolatry.

Underpining all of this must be a posture of humility when it comes to matters of Truth because His Ways are past finding out. We all have a measure of faith and never the full picture. So we should present what we have come to understand in humility and let Him do His work of bringing conviction of sin righteousness and judgement.

Sadly this is often not the case on forums, when the hammer that shatters the rock is ours, not His, and the words spoil the harvest and fail to bring life.

Regarding spiritual gifts we think we have received, both the giving and the operation thereof need to be 'as He Wills'

Best to give them back and request that they be subject to His Wisdom.

I think we have idolised the gifts and even suggested we can turn them on at will. Yet Jesus could only do what he saw the Father doing.

Some of the gifts like discernment and prophesy are reliable when are operating in a body context when believers are in unity and mutual submission. Our ministry should no longer be an individual sport. This is a fundamental difference between the ministries of the OT and the NT after the Body of Christ was formed. Even the two witnesses will serve together, the age of the solo prophet is past.

So let's explore topics together mindful that even 'the least' need to be heard.

That seed we were Born Again of is the Living and enduring word of God, His Living witness the Holy Spirit .
Great post, thanks.
What do you mean when you write, "the Living and enduring word of God"?
Is that a reference to the Bible, or something else?

I mean the word of God Is Alive and Active isn’t it.

You should know, remember your testimony?

The seed that we were Born Again Of is Alive And Active in our spirit.

Born of the Spirit....Spirit gives birth to spirit. Born Of Gods seed...all the same meaning.

Hebrews 4:12

New International Version

12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

My problem is when someone makes a god out of their books.

“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” (Psalms 138:2, KJV)

Sorry. I read this stuff and still cant figure out how someone make a god from the Bible. The Bible is a book that speaks of Gods love , history of His people. His redemptive power and plan of redemption., the life of Christ and future events.
I think the real reason folks say that the Bible can be worshiped are because they dont want to read it, and feel that since they can commune with the spirit constantly, it is not necessary.
So the bibliolatry term is born of this mindset.
Every time I read my Bible I find something new, and this is not just me. Many time the Spirit will elaborate on verses we think we understand. We'll se something new. The folk thinking the Bible is less important than the thoughts channeled are missin' out.

Yes,
Is the Logos of God the Bible? Is the Logos a book?

]
The Living word, who is Gods witness His Living Holy Spirit who is Alive in my spirit, the Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children...

He backs up Gods written word, I’m 100% Born Again in my spirit by Gods Living witness His Holy Spirit....the Bible is Written in Spirit, therefore can only be understood in our spirit, that’s why we need to be Born Again.

How can we grow ,mature, bear Jesus fruit, be made into Jesus image, without the Living Holy Spirit, Gods Living Witness who resides in our heart/ spirit...pretty simple, we can’t.

The written word is our food ...” spiritual food”,as we are spiritual children of God...lock stock and barrel.

In the world ...not of the world.

We are in the Kingdom Of God, 100%...only a Born Again will see the Kingdom Of God.

How would I know all of the above.

By Gods Living witness His Living Holy Spirit....backed up by His written word....The Holy Spirit witnesses Gods truth to our spirit...

I know NOTHING without HIM....I am NOTHING without him.

My opinion/ testimony and belief..100%

We serve a MIGHTY LIVING GOD....who is very much Alive and Active...In “ SPIRIT “.

1 Corinthians 2:14

New International Version
The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

New Living Translation
But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.

English Standard Version
The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

Romans 12

King James Version

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” (Psalms 138:2, KJV)

So you think this verse justifies the worship of a Book ?

John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Just maybe 'Thy Word' is the Logos, which is Jesus - the Name above every Name...

Personally I see it like this...

“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”

God's living Word which sustains all of creation is the Logos Jesus.

Every promise made by God whether recorded or not, remains, and the declaration of such promises is made by the Father through the Son by the Holy Spirit.

So His Word is far beyond what we have recorded in the Bible and continues into eternity.

The Grass withers and the flower fades but the Word of God abides forever. Bibles wear out - my NASB has lasted since 1974 but is falling to bits.

This is not a reference to Scripture but the endless and constant stream of proclamation from His throne Via His Son.

It never was a book although the Bible is greatly treasured and critical gift from Him in measuring Truth as the Holy Spirit gives understanding.

God has never and will never tolerate the worship of an object.
