I've studied Revelation extensively and I can't find the USA anywhere in Revelation. All of John's prophesies are in Jerusalem and the Roman Empire, in John's Day, in Israels, past, present and future. Revelations 18:24 gives you the best clue. Rev. 18:24 - And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.” what city killed the prophets and the saints. Rome is the answer.

That description fits Jerusalem, also.

Me thinks some people are missing something .
What is the key thing about this false prophet and these false prophets .
It had two horns like a lamb , ITS APPEARANCE was lamblike , but it spoke as did a dragon .
IT COMES from WITHIN , it is a deciever as are its false prophets .

Jerusalem was destroyed in 70ad, gone. No longer viable in John's vision of the Apocalypse. Rome was the worst for the prostitution, orgies, spreading the "pleasure" message as noted in Rome literature.

At the time, Rome was the mother of all Harlots. Every foul spirit and the unclean bird are symbolic of a world system being destroyed and only undesirable animal, like coyotes, and hated, unclean birds, like vultures, inhabit the land, which also is symbolic of a world power being removed.

History didn't end back then. Babylon is a spiritual entity that has existed since the beginning of time and still exists today. It is not destroyed until the future second coming of Christ. Rome was but one of the harlots of Babylon in history with Jerusalem being another.

I don't read that in the book of Revelations. The spiritual entity is external reading. John was writing of real events he saw.

Revelation is not just a history book. Obviously, it contains references to historical events that took place in the first century in the seven churches and, obviously, the future second coming of Christ will be a historical event, but the book also contains some spiritual truths that have been true throughout history and some that have been true throughout the New Testament time period.
