Grace-Haters are incapable of honestly admitting what the (P) in Calvinism really means.

Actually, it does. There's nothing in this passage that says they were dead. Also, forever and ever is a poor translation of αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων". A better translation is ages of ages. However, that too is a figure of speech.

Grace-Haters are incapable of honestly admitting what the (P) in Calvinism really means.

Actually, the "in you" was the Philippians. The good work He started in them was their partnership with Paul in his ministry.

Predestination vs free will: is there really any conflict in Scripture?

I've seen the word "foreknowledge" spoken of quite a bit. The word literally means before-know or to know before. it's not used of knowing the future. It's used of knowing in the past. It talks of knowing someone or something in the past. And we know that all things work together for good to...

Predestination vs free will: is there really any conflict in Scripture?

While I agree with your conclusion, I would submit that the whole debate is wrong. Men have created doctrines and given them Biblical titles. When the Bible refers to ones being predestined, it is referring to Israel. The Election, is Israel. Man has free will, that was taught from the start of...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

Two of your three passages are gone just on context. Jesus is the only one who referred to believers as, His sheep. Jesus' ministry was only to the Israel, thus the Jewish believers were His sheep. In context, when I speaks of "His people" he is also referring to the Israel. That leaves you...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

No Scripture? Surely you jest? 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. (Jn. 1:7-9...

    freewill? na

Justin and others show us what was first taught as Christian doctrine. Free will was first taught as Christian doctrine. As I pointed out, it was the Gnostics who said all things were fated. Yes, as I pointed out, it's all come from God. There would be no salvation apart from God. However...

    freewill? na

Looking at the early church shows us what was taught in the beginning. There are many statements about man having free will. It's interesting that you dismiss the early church but then claim church councils as proof of your claim. It seems you only accept that information that seems to fit what...

    freewill? na

Did you read my signature? It too is from Justin Marty. And for this [rite] we have learned from the apostles this reason. Since at our birth we were born without our own knowledge or choice, by our parents coming together, and were brought up in bad habits and wicked training; in order that we...

    freewill? na

What is your argument here? The passages in Exodus refer to Israel and say nothing of salvation. Likewise 1 John 4:19 says nothing of salvation. So how have you established that God chooses who will be saved? Of course the first effort is on God's part. The very life of a person comes from God...

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

Context. There is nothing in Scripture that says Jesus was fully two different things. Actually, we find that He wasn't. Being in the image of God He emptied Himself. 5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not...

    freewill? na

Augustine had quite a bit wrong with his theology. His previous Manichean beliefs seemed to influence his understanding of Christianity. The Early Christians argued against this idea of Fatalism, that all things are fated. Here is a excerpt from Justin Martyr from around 160 AD. Justin Martyr...

Scriptures that trinitarians Don't Want You to Know About - #5, Book of Acts

One can't be fully two different things. One can be fully one or the other, not both.

    freewill? na

Ah, the free will argument again. The early church writers put this to rest when they refuted the Gnostics.

    Loneliness

That's true. My point is that not everything Jesus said, applies to all Christians.

    Loneliness

He said He had only come to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So His ministry was to the Jews. He told the apostles that the Holy Spirit would guide them into all truth. That doesn't pertain to all Christians.

The Only True God, the God of Jesus Christ.

Yes, they are one in unity. Jesus said, 'not my will but thine be done.'

The Only True God, the God of Jesus Christ.

    What mystery?
  19. Butch5

The Only True God, the God of Jesus Christ.

What does that mean "Jesus is God"? I don't think there is a mystery concerning God and Christ. I think what people claim today appears to be a mystery because many are unwilling to admit that it is a logical contradiction. For some reason people have chosen to believe that which is illogical...
