Do we understand the purpose of the parable of the unjust steward and how that can give us the wisdom we need to escape the dire consequence of failing God's grace?

Reader,

The only way you can "fail of God's Grace" is to reject Christ, and die never born again.

Everyone, at all times, who is an unbeliever........is offered the Grace of God, that is "The Cross of Christ".

The Cross of Christ is a LIGHThouse.. in a dark world that is always lighting the only way to God... John 14:6

To refuse it......or as Hebrews 10 explains it.....>"if we willfully sin" this sin of Christ Rejection, then "there remains no more sacrifice".
= As JESUS is the only Sacrifice whom God offers as our sin Bearer... so this means that its only through the Cross of Christ that God's eternal Forgiveness, can be achieved....FREELY.........as otherwise, as Jesus says... "you'll die IN your sins".... if you die in unbelief.

Everyone can believe in Jesus, but not everyone is going to choose to do it, and if you dont, then you have failed to achieve God's Grace and you remain here..

John 3:36

New International Version
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

New Living Translation
And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.”

English Standard Version
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Berean Standard Bible
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Instead, the wrath of God remains on him.”

Berean Literal Bible
The one believing in the Son has eternal life, but the one not obeying the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

King James Bible
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

New King James Version
He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

New American Standard Bible
The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

NASB 1995
“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

NASB 1977
“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

Legacy Standard Bible
He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

Amplified Bible
He who believes and trusts in the Son and accepts Him [as Savior] has eternal life [that is, already possesses it]; but he who does not believe the Son and chooses to reject Him, [disobeying Him and denying Him as Savior] will not see [eternal] life, but [instead] the wrath of God hangs over him continually.”

Also, a Christian can FALL from God's Grace, but the Grace of God can't Fail them..

In other words... its possible that your understanding of God's Grace becomes subverted by some Heretic, some Calvinist, or similar, and they may have you on a Religious TRIP, inside your own head that has lost the understanding of God's '"Gift of Salvation"". However, you are just as saved as if this never happened to you, because its only your mind that is the issue... whereas your born again Spirit, is exactly that, always.
Becoming decieved by a Heretic or a "cult" Church.... does not impact your eternity or eternal life, it only ruins your Faith, and once your faith is ruined then your Christianity that is your understanding of the things of God..... is literally stumbling around, having no Light.

This is what the devil wants.. He wants you to be stuck in confusion, or worse, having certainty regarding your deception.. As once you are there, then he has ended your revelation knowledge.

See, there is this idea that no-one is too far gone to be recovered back to the light of revelation, regarding the Grace of God......but that is not the case most of the time.......and the reason is......once you become a Heretic......owned by Calvin or the cult of Mary or any of the "ism's" that currently produce heretics by the hundreds of millions...... then you are become convinced, and its difficult to stop believing lies that you are certain are true.

In Fact, when someone tries to help you back to the Light.........usually this just drives you farther into your deception.

There are exceptions.......it IS possible to escape a stronghold in the mind that is a "doctrine of devils" or a few that have trapped you.....but its not common.
What Hebrews teaches is that when we are first saved.. we must get our heart grounded in God's Grace, or a doctrine of devils.. a man made LIE that is a Theology, is going to capture your mind, and ruin your faith.

Christians are not to worry about repenting., as Jesus is already become their eternal Forgiveness and Salvation on The Cross.

In always amusing to find that Heretics worry about sin.........when in fact this is the already resolved by the Cross of Christ, 2000 yrs ago.

Jesus is our "SIN Bearer" who has "become sin for us'.... 2000 yrs ago.

If He is not become this to you, then you are not born again..

Christians are become "the righteousness of God, in Christ"......and remain so as "a new CREATION"... born again.

The bolded is just flat out wrong. You are an easy believer. Most of the stuff you preach is easy believism. Things that are easy to believe.

You disregard the scriptures where Jesus/God and his disciples and prophets tell people to repent. Where they tell people to strive against sin, deny the flesh, and separate from the world. Repentance and denying self, the flesh, is essential for the communion with Christ.

Not true according to God's Word.... which is of course WHY those that cling to the false doctrines of OSAS has to ignore or otherwise try to explain away scriptures they believe to be lies.... these folks do not accept the whole counsel of God and are in fact CHERRY PICKERS agree.gif

2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

IF… OSAS was true, 2 Corinthians 13:5 would not be in God’s Word!

Those that Turned Away from the Lord

2 Timothy 4:3,4

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine (teaching); but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

James 5:19,20
Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
Let him know, that he which converts the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

*By addressing this to “brethren” we know this is speaking to believers who turned from the truth and if they are converted back to the truth, the soul of the person that had fallen away is being saved from spiritual death which is separation from God.

2 Peter 2:1-3
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying (contradicting, Not agreeing with) the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness (idolatry) shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

Jude 1:4
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness (no self control, living after the flesh), and denying (contradicting, opposing Jesus’ teachings) the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (referring to false teachers and false brethren - see Matthew 13:24-30)

(Deny = Strong's G0720… to contradict, disavow, reject, deny, refuse - and Strong's G4483… the idea of pouring forth, to utter, speak of or say, command)

Jude 1:17-21
Remember the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
These are those who
separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
("those who separate themselves" is not referring to sinners in the world who were never joined unto the Lord in the first place)

See, there is this idea that no-one is too far gone to be recovered back to the light of revelation, regarding the Grace of God......
Do we not have the example of Manasseh……He did what was bad in Jehovah’s eyes, rebuilding the high places his father Hezekiah had destroyed, setting up altars to Baal, worshiping “all the army of the heavens,” and building false religious altars in two temple courtyards.

He made his sons pass through the fire, practiced magic, employed divination, and promoted spiritistic practices. Manasseh also put the graven image of the sacred pole he had made into the house of Jehovah. He seduced Judah and Jerusalem “to do worse than the nations that Jehovah had annihilated from before the sons of Israel.” (2 Kings 21:2-9)

Though Jehovah sent prophets, these were not heeded. Manasseh was also guilty of shedding innocent blood in great quantity(2 Kings 21:10-16) which, according to the literature of the Jewish rabbis, included that of Isaiah, who they say was sawn apart at Manasseh’s command. (Heb 11:3)

If Manasseh could repent and be restored to God’s favor, (2 Chron 33:12-13) then anyone can. As a reader of hearts God is not fooled by crocodile tears. Repentance is a vital ingredient in salvation.
but that is not the case most of the time.......and the reason is......once you become a Heretic......owned by Calvin or the cult of Mary or any of the "ism's" that currently produce heretics by the hundreds of millions...... then you are become convinced, and its difficult to stop believing lies that you are certain are true.

What if you have just described yourself here?

This is absolutely true. However we are in the end times, and when the Rapture happens then the age of grace is over. The church age is over. We will have entered into a dispansation of Judgment, so there isnt much time left to use the graces of God to a good stewardship of our lives.

I doubt Jesus made his parables deliberately difficult to understand. So why is there a struggle to get what he intended to convey?
Is it not because of a refusal to concede that our paradigms are faulty?
Oh no, I can hear in the background, not mine!

If we refuse to even ask this question seriously; if we refuse to just stop our prattle, clarity will elude us in all our mental gymnastics. We will fill the space with lots of words and self righteous judgements.

The bolded is just flat out wrong.

Not according to the NT.
You should get one.
It would be something new for you to read.

You are an easy believer.

Im a born again believer, that's true.

Most of the stuff you preach is easy believism.

God's Grace is Christ on The Cross.
If this is difficult for you to believe, then that explains why your Legalistic theology rejects it. @ShineTheLight
