This is a joke….right?
LOL…Read the entire psalm and see for yourself what it’s about….
“Why are the nations in an uproar
And the peoples devising a vain thing?
The kings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers take counsel together
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us tear their fetters apart
And cast away their cords from us!”
He who sits in the heavens laughs,
The Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger
And terrify them in His fury, saying, “But as for Me, I have installed My King
Upon Zion, My holy mountain.” “I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance,
And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
‘You shall break them with a rod of iron,
You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”
Now therefore, O kings, show discernment;
Take warning, O judges of the earth.” (NASB)
What does this mean in context? Do you see that God is speaking about installing his King….saying “you are my son”…..can God be his own son? Does God need to give himself nations as his inheritance?
You pluck verses out of context and wonder why people who study the Scriptures disagree with your cherry picked verses.
Did Jesus become King at his birth?
What did Daniel see in vision?
Daniel 7:13-14….Jesus’ coronation as King of God’s Kingdom….
“I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. “And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every language Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed.” (NASB)
This is not a baby….
“Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.”
Did Jesus have a pre-human existence? …yes he did…..
Col 1:15…
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.”
Firstborn of all creation, meaning he is the first of God’s creations….
“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this“. (Rev 3:14)
LOL…you make me laugh….when did we ever say that Jesus was merely a man? He was the only man born of woman to be sinless, by the power of God’s spirit…..if he was not 100% human he could not have paid the price of redemption.
An immortal God cannot die, nor can mere humans kill God.
Not that I can see…
Part two may perhaps be more accurate……?
Part one was a joke.
