Not we; only UNBELIEVERS are prevented. See?You LOVED my comment below.
Don't you understand that it says we are prevented from knowing absolute truth because that would NOT be faith?
[
BELIEVERS have FAITH in the SCRIPTURES which are the ABSOLUTE TRUTH from the WORD OF GOD.That would mean NOT absolute truth.
[
- What was God doing before he did this? What are your really BIG existential questions?
Do you know the difference between truth and ABSOLUTE truth? Not we; only UNBELIEVERS are prevented. See?
If you have absolute truth, then faith is not required.BELIEVERS have FAITH in the SCRIPTURES which are the ABSOLUTE TRUTH from the WORD OF GOD.
Johnny: If in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, what was he doing before that?- What was God doing before he did this?
The term “absolute truth“ is a double superlative. Truth is truth.- What was God doing before he did this?
- Why did He do this?
- Was global genocide the best solution to the world in Noah's day?
- What are his long-term plans for us?
- What will he do next?

I already answered that, but I will try harder to make it clear. I am saved by grace through faith. Yes, FAITH is required in order to be saved. YOU MUST HAVE FAITH in order to receive TRUTH.If you have absolute truth, then faith is not required.
Are you saved by faith or absolute truth?
Are we saved by certainty, or by faith? - the mystery of salvation
Faith is not required to believe a certainty. How much energy do we expend attempting to promote salvation as a certainty? All the reams of apologetics to make the mystery of faith appear to be a certainty. Were we saved by grace through certainty, or saved by grace through faith? ]www.christianityboard.com

Are you sure that truth is an adjective? (absolutely) - LOLThe term “absolute truth“ is a double superlative. Truth is truth.
That means the certainty of truth has nothing to do with it. Faith is required.I already answered that, but I will try harder to make it clear. I am saved by grace through faith. Yes, FAITH is required in order to be saved. YOU MUST HAVE FAITH in order to receive TRUTH.
By faith!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That means the certainty of truth has nothing to do with it. Faith is required.
Are you saved by certainty, or by faith?

Truthfully? Are you sure that truth is an adjective? (absolutely) - LOL

Nonsense.Certainly, God’s TRUTH has everything to do with ABIDING in CHRIST.
There we go, a double superlative. Absolute truthfully. - LOLTruthfully?
You appear to be stuck. I can't help you.@St. SteVen
I think that perhaps you’ve forgotten that BELIEVERS were chosen before the foundation of the world because of His foreknowledge of them. He knew we would be faithful.
Romans 8:29 (NKJV) For whom He foreknew, He also predestined [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Faith is not a lack of certainty, but has substance and evidence, as defined in Hebrews 11:1:Nonsense.
Abiding in Christ is the biggest test of our faith.
Faith means a lack of certainty. (absolute truth)

I'm going to quote myself because this was so freakin' brilliant....Are you arguing that it's not possible to KNOW anything?
Or is the argument that to KNOW something requires trust (faith) in something else, whether that something is your eyeballs, your measurement equipment, whatever?
