The Holy Spirit is the Author of Scripture.
One must know the Spirit of Truth in order to understand His words.
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness
Those who argue against scripture are arguing against God.
Those who add to God's words what HE never said, to change the Truth are followers of men and not of Christ.
As more then one person on here has said: "my pastor says....."
The falling away is in full swing and will only get worse.
Just as the Apostle John said: "no lie is of the Truth"
Just as the Apostle Paul said:
For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires.
These teachers of falsehood wear paper crowns and call themselves 'masters and doctors of divinity' for they love praise from men.
I must agree my friend . I seem to notice a very common characteristic amongst these great so called scholars .
They can take up to half a page to explain their so called wise view
they can speak long speeches
They can speak and write and yet all they do is twist what is plainly written in order to fit SOMETHING they believed
and what they believed actually caused one thing . DISOBEDIANCE and unbelief in what
the original actually said .
For example they often do this . Now please bear with me and see what it is they really do .
The ever wise and highly intellectual scholars is liken unto a man
who went unto a child . This child had been well instructed by their father
who had told this child that he desired only good for the child . That he desired joy for child and that he wanted
his child safe , and happy and having the joy of the LORD . And that the child needed to always heed
his advice .
Now before the child left to go to school the father had said , my dear son today
when you get home i want you to take out the trash and if you do not then i will have to discpline you .
SO off the child went to school . After the school the child was headed home
and a wise highly intellectual scholar met him . And said to the child
did you father tell you that he wanted you to take out the trash .
And the child said , YES he did and that if i did not he would punish me .
NAY nay said the scholar , did you father not tell you that he wanted you to have joy . does taking out the trash
bring you joy . TO which the child said , well no not really i had rather be playing .
WELL then you go and play and later when you father arrives AT THE TIME appointed this evening
And he sees that you have not taken out the trash , you remind him , but dad you said you wanted me to have joy .
AND Now a word .
When the father of said child gets home and sees that trash was not taken out
DO ya really think he is gonna buy it when the child says , but daddy i thought you wanted me to have joy
so i went to play . Exactly . these folks twist crap non stop in order to find a way
to go around something that was clearly said . GUESS who dont heed them scholars . THIS LAMB . not a word
out of their mouths do i heed . and my advice is , We get a nose in that bible for ourselves
cause GOD and HIS CHRIST meant WHAT THEY SAID
and he or she who listens to any one who tries to say otherwise and takes things out of text
in order to justify why they do as they do , GONNA find out the HARD WAY why it was THEY SHOULD have TRUSTED
GOD and not men .
