They did not give up full immersion, they just gave the option of sprinkling for different reasons. And later infant baptism….then in the 16th century the Protestants made the Pagan custom of wedding ceremonies mandatory to be married….put that in your pipe and smoke it.

It's not dissimilar to Eve saying "and you must not touch it" Gen 3:3.

Not only does man want to change the Word, which as you say above they did, he loves to add to it.

Because the Greek word "trias" which was used for the trinity in Ad180 and going back the immortal soul on AD124; paganism had taken strong root in the believers resulting in AD250 and the belief in the perpetual virginity of Mary.

We have only pointed out but a few and there are many of these formulated doctrines in the earth today.

The RCC has 2856 doctrines in their Catechism.

Of late, i pointed out, that you do not put an X mas tree in the Church. for they did have such.
Another was about a horse shoe at the top of the door. I pointed out that Christians do not have such because such is Pagan rubbish, good luck charms are rubbish.

Not to mention all people are Pagans, untill they become truly born again in fact, for such a one does not know Christ Jesus is all about untill you are truly born again, it's all about Christ Jesus in fact ! and Religion does not cut the mustard in fact and never did !
