Whether they were at one time or not is not the point. Are they believers when they say "Lord, Lord, open to us" when He comes? He will tell them that He doesn't know them. I showed that those who say "Lord, Lord, open to us" when Jesus comes will be cast out to the fire where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. That is something that is said only of unbelievers. And He will say to them that He doesn't total know them. He would never say that to a true believer and that is obvious. Your response to these points is total silence.
