But men know in an instant, that one is not wife material, that one isnt either. I'm sure you see those ones in church. They dress shamely. They get into looking for a man mode and overdo it getting ready for church. They show up almost dressed for the club instead of church.

That ones wife material, you can tell by how she dresses. (I bet she's married already lol) I'm gonna walk by her and look for her ring...

So dont forget wear your ring to church!

My husband talked about dressing married verses dressing single. The difference seemed subtle to me. But it's easier to understand now.

It's like a lady in waiting. You're dressing well to honor those you serve and care for (in yhis case, a royal lady), not to advertise your own value alone or physicality.

Discovered this video today. It is one of the best descriptions of modesty I have ever seen!

For me the best part of the video is when the sister explains that we Christians cover with clothing because it represents that Christ is our covering for our sin.

This is so beautiful and explains why we even wear clothes to begin with.

Its sad too that some of the women have evil intentions and some simply feel so insecure they think they have to be sensual to look good.

The astonishing part is…
Body alterations, hair pieces, hair colors, nail extensions, eye lashes, veneers, the thick makeup, express thought out clothing choices….are the presentment of a totally corrupted outer FAKE human….why would any one have a expectation of what comes out of their mouth, their inner self, would not ALSO be FAKE?

You get it. I know you have to be married because of how you talk and that tou keep the Lord your focus. You are even able to feel attractive dressed modestly like as for church because you can know and feel that you are obeying God and are attractive to Him. It's not vanity at that point because you understand the limits. That's evident by how you talk.

That's the thing about women. Men are very visual creatures and they even like attractive women in their church. Almost always men can go into a strange church, and knowing no one, pick out the Pastors Wife!

Have you ever watch any Derek Prince videos? He brings His Wife out quite a bit and the camera gets here here and there sitting. That lady radiates Godliness. She holds her place and wont even interupt him. He pauses, she begins to say something but he was just gathering his thoughts and begins to speak again, and she just remains silent. Respect. Submission. Femininity. Obeying.

That's a very beautiful thing on a woman of any age.

Men seeing a woman as married is a sign of respect in my eyes.

I struggled a lot with the same issues immodest women tend to struggle with. I found wholeness in the Lord and he purified me. I only want Him to get glory now. And I want my husband to know I'm proud of him and that I'm part of him at all times.

Modesty, as you know, is not just clothing. Its our behaviour. That took longer than the outside but God has been good to me, showing me wholeness and contentment in His ways.

Modesty is a beautiful way to display confidence in Christ. Adam and Eve tried to sew leaves for clothing but were clothed by God Himself with animal skins (Genesis 3:21). That means animals were sacrificed to cover their nakedness which they were now ashamed of.

We have a better sacrifice now in Jesus' crucifixion (Hebrews 9:23). His blood covers our sin if we continue to walk in the light (1 John 1:7).

This is why it's wrong to be overly exposed even at pools and beaches. It's more important to represent Christ than hog glory and attention for the ways our bodies look.

See, there's the dressing for marriage or dressing single. I see quite a few Married women who still dress single! Oie I think he made a bad choice lol. Women when they're getting ready for church but are single want to look their best. ...and they know (think) that, they look their best when they dress for the streets (Because that's when the boys give her the most attention). So they wind up dressing for the streets and not for church.

Men see this is an instant. The younger the men, the more wild oats are knawing at them so they may get attention from young stupid men, but not from men of value. We can spot them for the street girls in an instant.

You know, sometimes I like to watch the Maury show. And sometimes the things spoken and said to have done and all the drama that comes with that...I never had any of those problems when I was of marketable age to the ladies, and I wondered why? I've never heard of some of that stuff before! Or it happens to other people. And I wondered if I was blessed or lucky or what? And it hit me...I have said no to more women than most men have! I naturally knew those girls as for the street and didnt date them. Well, I did one accidently one time but I left her sitting in McDonalds, lol.

Me & my brother started calling them Tropical Fish. and it's all about how they dress and present themselves. They're dressing Single, for the attention of the world. That isnt dressing Married or for the Lord, or Modestly.

I understand that young women want to find a good man and that there is lots of competition from other women so they started slicing their jeans to show more skin, wearing 1/2" of makeup and dye their hair blue or green. They think this makes them more noticable to men and it does to an extent...but not the Husband material men!

They forget that our stay on earth here is not only for sanctification to be brought back into full relationship with God, and learning how to love everyone...but it's also an exercise in Delayed Gratification.

One time I was praying and I asked the Lord, Lord, where would I be right now if I had not backslid and waste dmany years of my life? Where would I be right now if I had lived for you alone?...and He answered me instantly. He said, right where you are now.

And that blew my mind. Earthlings are such slow learners! It takes 50 years to even get a clue whats going on! And wisdom comes. And all these years I thought I was the smart kid out of 4! We're all Remedial! But it makes sense now what He said

I noticed that. Blood was shed and in that, He made a covering for the man & woman. It was the very first step in starting to bring them back into relationship with Him.

Yes! Now we have Jesus and what He has done for us!

Dressing modestly is attractive to high value men. It tells us quickly (especially with their behavior, speech and how they carry themselves combined). So the world is to the point that we can almost spot the Christian women anywhere, even at the beach. Does she act like a tramp or not? Many times girls pose at the beach like a tramp while they are sun tanning.

She's for the streets!

There's a big difference between modest beach attire and for the streets attire. Whup, Tropical Fish, I'll go that way instead, lol!

I've never heard a young lady talk like you do before. You had to be older I thought!

At one point I used a photo of my face for my profile. I'd consider it but I hesitate. I'm afraid of being vain, looking "available", or just attracting creepers who send me pms and I have to explain I dont do the whole long private conversation with males thing.

But I enjoyed the realness of it for a while. I enjoy my uniqueness. I wouldn't trade.
