Sheep and disciple are one in the same in His teaching. We are to follow Him, we are to learn from Him, we are to take direction from Him.

The Word of God (Holy Bible) is not about us, we play a part but the scriptures are His way of telling us who He is and what He wants from and for us.

We are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. We are to repent (turn away from our way of thinking and turn to His). We are to love what He loves and Hate what He hates. We are to be bold to be the salt (perverse of His Word/Truth) and light (show in action His ways- all His ways not just grace and mercy but correction, rebuking, teaching).

God is not limited to one attribute -why do we need to be one ? He is Creator, Judge, Redeemer, Savior, Protector, Counselor, Helper, Warrior, Alpha and Omega, Healer, Shephard, The Way, Truth and Life, He is The Great I AM!

And because He choose me He gave me His Spirit and His promise that the power He has is living in me. Praise THE LORD forever and ever amen.
So do you think the 1 in 10 tenth given to the Lord they did with sheep means anything?

I don't know if I understand your question.

And concerning the tithe of the herd or the flock, of whatever passes under the rod, the tenth one shall be holy to the LORD. Lev 27:32
(- the flock which could be ox, goat, sheep)

God speaks in metaphors and parables so we can relate. To tell us to be a disciple might not make sense to everyone so He tells us we are the sheep. As the people were farmers (crops and cattle).

His sheep are His disciples.

We are all following someone or something, like sheep but hopefully we follow Jesus, our Good Shepherd so we can be His sheep. There are other sheep that follow the Evil shepherd.

Your post make no sense to me, can you please explain
What it meant to me is that the shepherd is Jesus and it is Jesus alone that does the calling. 22 means light and Jesus is the light of the world. I could be wrong though.

Read the preceeding verse 1st, and then consider what it, "follow me", really entails and what was required ultimately by Peter and how he died, as told him by Jesus in the preceeding verse. Quite profound, and I wonder how many of us would continue as did Peter knowing what his fate would be. He too was crucified, but upside-down.

John 24:18-19

18Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. 19This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

Yes Jesus is the Good Shepherd. God alone choses and saves. Not sure if you are debating or agreeing with my comments. I won't click on any link posted so I don't know what you mean by 22. Scripture is my reference for all things.

Well I use the internet for my searching on my own too. If you don't want to search something out I can't help you. I just was stating what 22 meant to me seeing the number.
