So, you're saying you think Mark is wrong in what he wrote here and we should go by what Matthew wrote instead?

Mark 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
I understand what Mathew wrote.

It is easier for me to understand knowing where the kingdom of heaven is

Good reason to be buried there.Just ask Jacob and Joseph.

Paul was inspired but so was Peter when he felt he needed to chose the twelfth disciple to take Judas place.
Paul was not told to write what he did where John was. There is huge difference there. For John was even told what not to write.Paul wasn't .
You're talking out of both sides of your mouth here, so to speak. Let me ask you another way then. Do you think Paul wrote anything in his letters that isn't accurate and that we can't trust as being the truth that we can base our doctrines on?

You have such trouble answering questions. You seem to purposely avoid them. It makes you come across as dishonest. Again, do you believe what Mark wrote here is true or not?

Mark 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

You say that you interpret the Bible word for word. Even a passage like Revelation 20. Well, taking Mark 13:27 word for word, do you then believe that when Jesus comes His angels will gather the elect from both heaven and the earth?

I'm not talking out both sides of my mouth.
John was instructed to write.Paul wasn't.

I've already said I believe Mathews account.

I will quote it for you again.

Are you telling me that Mathews account of Jesus word spoken to Mathew is wrong?

Mathew

28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

What difference does this make? Both Paul's letters and the book of Revelation are scripture that are inspired by God. Do you disagree?

Again, the avoidance of answering my question. This is what liars do. It's a very simple question. Does this mean you do not believe Mark's account of the same thing in Mark 13:24-27 where he gives one added detail that Matthew didn't (which is not a big deal...it just means we should read all 3 accounts for the big picture)?

This is your last chance to answer this simple question along with the question of whether you believe Paul's letters were inspired by God and can be fully trusted as a basis for our doctrine. Yes or no?

Okay, I gave you a chance to answer my questions and you have been exposed as a fraud that no one can trust. You clearly believe that Paul's letters, and apparently the gospel of Mark (or at least his account of the Olivet Discourse), are not scripture that can be trusted to base our doctrine on. Somehow, only the book of Revelation can be trusted for that in your mind.

So, thank you for revealing to everyone that you are a fraud who holds Paul and Mark (and who knows who else) in low regard. End of story, indeed. You have been exposed. I'm done with this now.

Then you should peddle your lies elsewhere.

You can't tell.the difference between someone being instructed to prophecy and someone who wasn't.

Revelation 10:11
And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Amen

Im in a conversation with someone who is convinced that Paul new everything.
That he himself received the revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave to him to show his servants things which must shortly come to pass.

How many people on this board believe Paul received the revelation of Jesus Christ before John?
Not sure why you're asking, but it's a question. If you're talking about the Apostle John, no, because John knew the Lord well before Paul did.

It doesn't really matter. We carry our carnal selves with us throughout our life, whether raised a saint or raised a sinner. Once we get a handle on the tools Christ has given us to overcome, we can spend our lives resisting our carnal nature and choosing to learn what Christ wants us to learn and carry out the mission Christ has called us to.

Paul certainly lived a Christian life in less time than I have, and yet I find him such an exemplary figure that I honor him and recognize his leadership and apostleship. That is what Christ called him to, and what he gave us in the way of the Bible can help us immensely.

What we are in this lifetime does not limit what God has called us to in the next life unless we disobey God and refuse to repent or learn. I don't follow Paul, though I honor him and recognize both his gifts and his faithful service.

I benefit from what God showed him on our behalf. It was his job to live it for himself, and it is my job to live it for myself. We are all one, and we should strive, individually, to fulfill whatever calling God has called us to. Otherwise, God will find someone else to carry out what we should've done.

You said Paul knew everything John did.

That would include everything in the book of revelation which was given to John.

Paul died before John recieved the revelation.

I stated paul.may not have known about the things in revelation such as the second resurection.

You argued and said Paul knew everything John did which would include the revelation of Jesus Christ which was given to John to write.

You changing your tune now?
I think you replied to the wrong person I could not have said Paul knew everything I never believed that. God knows everything certainly.

Peace.

LOL! You are avoiding the question. He was led to write about prophecy by God, was he not? Do you believe that Paul was inspired by God when he wrote his letters? Yes or no. Your hesitancy to answer this question is quite telling. I'll give you one more chance. Please answer my simple question.
why would tailgator even answer you ? you have been questioning him gestapo style since the beginning, you might learn a few things from what he says.

How many people on this board believe Paul received the revelation of Jesus Christ before John?

Paul did understand and taught the Rapture, 2nd Coming, Judgement seat of Christ, as well as many other revelations, that are regarding the "end times".
However, you dont have to be an Einstein to realize that if God gave John "The Revelation" then that is the Full Revelation.

Reader, the 11 Apostles, understood the Trib-Grt Trib, before Paul was called into the "time of the Gentiles" Ministry.
So, even before Jesus ascended back into GLORY (to later Call Paul into the Ministry)....., the 11 original apostles, understood some "end times" as Jesus in Matthew 24, revealed it to them, and He had already revealed some "end time" revelation to the Apostles, before he was Crucified.

Paul's "mission" "ministry" was to REVEAL = "the Gospel of the Grace of God".... as "The preaching of the Cross, is the Power of God, unto Salvation, to all who BELIEVE"..
See that "GOSPEL"?
That is "Paul's Gospel"... and that was given to Him by Jesus.. And Paul gave to the 11 original Apostles, in Acts 15.

Paul's mission -ministry to the CHURCH, the "Body of Christ" was to provide you with "church Doctrine."

Paul main ministry was to start new local churches.. and so, he started , many, and you find some of them in Paul's letters to them..

Corinthians
Ephesians
Galatians
Thessalonians

Paul said that we are to learn his Doctrine and study his Lifestyle and Ministry as the example, the pattern, for Christian Discipleship.

This is why he told you.."Be a follower of Me, as i follow Christ"

Not a worshiper... but a follower......as Paul is the greatest Christian who ever lived, and so, we are to learn his Teachings, His Lifestyle, His ministry, and emulate it....= DO That.
