Paul was writing to the Church.
He was writing to the Church ABOUT Israel. Are you in Israel? If you want to discuss this start a thread. I don't want to hijack Wynona's thread.
He was writing to the Church that the remnant of Israel is those from the rest of Israel who are saved by grace through faith in Christ, and are thus part of His Church.
A Jew today in God’s eyes is not physical but spiritual. Paul succinctly says, “he is a Jew, which is one inwardly.” Those that are born again, irrespective of nationality or color, are classed as true Jews.
Paul further reinforces his argument in Philippians 3:3, speaking of the Church generally, “For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the Spirit [Gr. pneuma], and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.”
This verse is another that presents a major difficulty for the literalists. Their insistence that every reference to Israel, Jew, children of Abraham and circumcision must be strictly interpreted literally is exposed by passages like this.
All through the New Testament the term “the circumcision” is used as a natural synonym for the Jews. Anywhere it is found, it is seen to describe (and encompass) the physical ethnic Jewish people. The term “the circumcision” in its normal usage related exclusively to natural Israel. We see this illustrated in Ephesians 2:11 where natural Jews are identified as “Circumcision in the flesh made by hands.”
Several other references are found in Acts 10:45, 11:2, Romans 3:30 Romans 4:9, 12, 15:8, Galatians 2:7-12, Colossians 2:11, 4:11 and Titus 1:10. It must be added, the term did embody the stranger that joined themselves to Israel by faith in Yahweh. However, they too had to submit to all the customs pertaining to Israel in faith and practice, including physical circumcision.

The Christian Church system I was raised in did not teach Bible prophecy. So when I grew up, I learned how to study The Bible for myself. I asked God to help me understand His Word, and He did. If I had not asked Him I don't think I would have learned in His Word.

I don't want to discourage anyone in the study of end time prophecy. Show me a potential fulfillment, and I'll bite. But when it is conjecture upon conjecture presented as being authoritative... Forget about it.

You act as if the church/body of Christ doesn't even exist.
I don’t know if this qualifies as a potential fulfillment that will be determined July 7 or beyond
What I’m referring to is the book of Jonah and the recent eclipse over the same spot that was hit in New Mexico in the 1800s which led to a horrible earthquake largest 90 days after the eclipse
90 days after the recent eclipse is on July 7
Let’s wait and see if that will be a fulfillment
