I' ve always been a dreamer, and very vivid ones too, and prophetic if I am honest. I have dreamed of things before they happen. I never tell anyone, because they would freak out. They are never hardly ever good ones either and I think It must be the depression I suffer with at times or some kind of stress.
When I became interested in christinaity, I had a dream that I saw a large red moon and I was stood in awe, just looking, and to the left of me, a sun with a cloud starting to cover it. I guess that was the day of the Lord, but for whom..me or the whole world?, I can not tell.
I had never read or heard anything about red moons nor a sun being covered by a cloud before , and hardly read any bible at all. but one day I was reading the bible Old Testament and read about the red moon and sun with a cloud covering it, and was struck by what I read....it was very vivid and and clear. I admit, I was freaked a bit when I came across the bible verses about red/blood moons.
Then not long after I dreamt I saw a very royal regal man with a crown and a sword on a horse in armour "coming on the clouds" I watched intently as He was being formed from the actual clouds in the sky and was thinking how wierd it was.... then I woke up...Again I had never hear of this bible verse but was amazed when I read Daniels vision in the night in the book of Daniel. I dreamt I saw the serpent bound in the earth too and had never read about it.
I have had a few more, like I once dreamed of a pillar of cloud and then dreamt of storms coming from the north and saw amber metal glowing like fire in the heavens infolding itself, I was awestruck when I randomly read about it by Ezekiel. exactly like this:

As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness around it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming metal.
I have even dreamt of the glory cloud and never heard of it until later.... brilliant light coming from behind a white cloud. all of these dreams have me watching intently but waking up feeling like I don't get to understand why or anything...then it dawned on me...
I guess all I can think of, is, because I was averse to reading the bible and could not for the life of me care to read it either, even though I liked to believe it could be true, it was GODs way of letting me in on things, and when I did read some it, random snippets, it gave me more incentive to read much more when I came across the dreams that matched the scriptures.
I find He will work personally with each and everyone one of us in His Way, to bring us to Himself.
Just thought I would post this if anyone likes to be encouraged and deepen their faith.
