How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

I think he will allow people to suffer forever...

You misunderstand the nature and methods of Jesus. Jesus provides a way to salvation in the afterlife and he waits until ALL go to him before giving the kingdom to God. That's what Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 15, but you don't understand Paul.

And the majority reject His offer.

Yep, and once they're outside the circle of trust there is no coming back! Even if they repent and cry out to Jesus from Hell, Jesus says "No way Jose, you had your chance and now you're going to suffer forever ha ha ha!".

Doesn't it concern you that you may be leading people to Hell, and you'll be with them?

Galatians 5
19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,
20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,
21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Deuteronomy 6:13 You shall fear the Lord your God and serve Him, and shall take oaths in His name. 14 You shall not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples who are all around you 15 (for the Lord your God is a jealous God among you), lest the anger of the Lord your God be aroused against you and destroy you from the face of the earth.

My brother, please remember Matthew 7:21-23.
There is something profound in life, we are born lost with a heart of love.
This in itself is a contradiction which either dies from the darkness or connects with the creator.
Fear and anxiousness mixed with pride are our destiny, creating a toxic destructive society taking chunks out of each other.
I was brought up in such a society and I hated it.

Paul argued that all men have enough witness in creation to seek Him.
So there are no innocents.

What is overriding in peoples imagination is that they cannot change. And I can testify without Jesus and the power of cross becoming a life transforming experience which can turn our hearts and change us, I can only say, people when they disbelieve Jesus's promise that His yoke is easy and His burden is light, He is right and their stubbornness is the block between the Kingdom and their hearts. Coming to Christ is the hardest thing we can do, because we have to give up our lives and our security to put it all in Him and His word.

When Peter said he had given up everything to follow Jesus, Jesus answered that Peter had family in the Kingdom which was riches unimaginable. How many have really embraced this or know the meaning Jesus was speaking. Knowing the boundaries of love and intimacy, of sharing our deepest hurts and regrets, of walking in openness and truth with others.

I realised the hurt of many can pour out on another when an incident occurs and someone is vulnerable, out the puss pours. But in Christ this is the lostness of broken lives without context or foundation, falling apart and taking aim at others while they fall apart.

This defines the gates of Hell cannot prevail against Gods work in the hearts of His people.

When the Lord asks us to dwell on His words, He is speaking the truth, because these are His heart and intention and in this we find life. It is embedded in life and all our relationships, which is so hard to see and feel, but underpin all that we hold dear.

God bless you

The Bible says that no one can come to God unless the Spirit draws them.
Therefore, if they WANT to come to God, it's because the Spirit is drawing them.

That's rich.
Do you believe in eternal conscious torment with no hope of escape?
"What Kind of God do we got if that is true?", as you ask.

"What Kind of God do we got if that is true?", as you ask.

I agree this interpretation of eternal punishment to be eternal torment is not scriptural.
Only satan and his followers are deemed worthy of this judgement, as they are eternal creatures or those who openly follow the enemy.
Man goes to the lake of fire, which destroys body and soul. What is often missed in nervous breakdowns is we are very fragile and are built on security in various relationships and held together because our contradictions do not surface. When they do, we shatter.

One image of people whimpering and gnashing their teeth is a picture of such broken people.
No human can survive seeing the creator unless their hearts are with Him. It is why seeing Him is so lethal.

We have so many examples of being in a place of radiation we die. Jesus comes to warn us, with a door open that this righteous God has provided a door to eternal communion with Him, but no other way.

Some think miracles or spiritual power declares their closeness through grace to the King of Kings.
But as the 10 lepers show, no one really cares for the healer, just for being healed. Its the heart change that matters which is much more complex and a path to walk to find.

When we stand before Jesus what will be our heart expression. Praise before the Lord for His love or anger at the pain we have had to go through. Life is a preparation for this reality, and I pray all might know what the eternal reality needs to be....because there is no other eternal reality.... God bless you

Does it concern you that you make Jesus out to be a gazillion times worse than Hitler?
You mean this Jesus?

Mt 25
41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
Rev 20
10 The devil
, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Thats giving people a free pass. They can live however in this life. Aven deny there is an afterlife. Then when they enter the afterlife (where no one will deny Christ.) they get a free pass

Sorry my friend. It will nto happen.

Satan is doing exactly what God intended him to do.

Bad translations result in Bibles that contradict themselves. That's the problem with the KJV and most other English Bible translations and that's why you and many others believe in forever punishment. Properly translated versions don't contradict themselves.

Yes God, no Satan and no translations. His strength is made prefect in weakness and God's word is His providence, not that of men who translate. The truth must be spiritually discerned, by design.
