My brother, please remember Matthew 7:21-23.
There is something profound in life, we are born lost with a heart of love.
This in itself is a contradiction which either dies from the darkness or connects with the creator.
Fear and anxiousness mixed with pride are our destiny, creating a toxic destructive society taking chunks out of each other.
I was brought up in such a society and I hated it.
Paul argued that all men have enough witness in creation to seek Him.
So there are no innocents.
What is overriding in peoples imagination is that they cannot change. And I can testify without Jesus and the power of cross becoming a life transforming experience which can turn our hearts and change us, I can only say, people when they disbelieve Jesus's promise that His yoke is easy and His burden is light, He is right and their stubbornness is the block between the Kingdom and their hearts. Coming to Christ is the hardest thing we can do, because we have to give up our lives and our security to put it all in Him and His word.
When Peter said he had given up everything to follow Jesus, Jesus answered that Peter had family in the Kingdom which was riches unimaginable. How many have really embraced this or know the meaning Jesus was speaking. Knowing the boundaries of love and intimacy, of sharing our deepest hurts and regrets, of walking in openness and truth with others.
I realised the hurt of many can pour out on another when an incident occurs and someone is vulnerable, out the puss pours. But in Christ this is the lostness of broken lives without context or foundation, falling apart and taking aim at others while they fall apart.
This defines the gates of Hell cannot prevail against Gods work in the hearts of His people.
When the Lord asks us to dwell on His words, He is speaking the truth, because these are His heart and intention and in this we find life. It is embedded in life and all our relationships, which is so hard to see and feel, but underpin all that we hold dear.
God bless you
