That is not correct! Only part of Israel has fulfilled that calling, by way of the Church!
The original calling of Israel was before and separate from the Church.
That is the calling they will fulfill! Totally and independent from the Church.
We're talking about God's chosen people here, and the Church is not that original chosen!
We (Israelite and Gentile believers) are His chosen now. Being a child of God is not dependent on one's nationality, as Paul indicated in Romans 9:6-8. We are all one in Christ. God does not have two groups of people, He has one and they are those who have faith. God made it so that there was no difference between the Jew and the Gentile but here you are saying there is still a difference.
Acts 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that
a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9
And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
Take Peter's words to heart. He said God "put no difference between" us (Jews) and them (Gentiles). So, don't create a difference between them.
