What you suppose is meant by "earth"? Because the Greek word can also mean "land".
The 144,000 are redeemed from the earth, which is land so it makes no matter. They are the first fruits of the coming harvest. We see this harvest in Revelation 7 as part of the great multitude. We get another view of this harvest in Revelation 15.
So, the first fruits of the harvest are 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Israel. That means the harvest should be Israel. In other words if the first fruits are pumpkins, the harvest should be pumpkins.
Let's check the harvest and see if it is Israel. We see Jesus comes for the harvest at the end of Revelation 14.
Revelation 14
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
And what is the harvest?
Revelation 15
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
3
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
Those that are harvested are singing the song of Moses so I would say they are of the 12 tribes of Israel.
Note: The twelve tribes across the earth are the seed of the woman. The believers from 12 tribes are harvested in the second rapture at the 6th seal which we get another view of in Revelation 14. The 1st rapture is the Church before the 70th week of Daniel.(Revelation 4 & 5) The nation of Israel itself, the woman, goes through the wrath of God in a place of protection.
There are two raptures (harvests) The fig tree has two harvests. One will be like the days of Noah, where Noah is in the ark 7 days before the flood. That will be the Church. The second rapture will be like the days of Lot where the very day Lot left Sodom destruction came. These are facts which we can prove though most do not understand.
Jacob had two wives. He married one and had to work 7 more years for his beloved Rachel.
