You are totally insincere about asking for Scripture. What did you do with John 1:1? Did you believe it and did you repent? Can you show me the scripture that teaches this or are you teaching the traditions of men?

That is not a strawman argument; it is a "put-down" and a diversion tactic in order to ignore the truth of that thought. Denying that Jesus is not eternal is a whole different ballgame and has extremely serious end times consequences to it.Strawman. Jesus died. This is how we know he is not God for it means that Jesus is changing, not eternal.
I'll stick with the Septuagint, Strong's Concordance, Bauer's Lexicon and Thayer's Greek LexiconIt is a fact that all English translations from the Greek before the King James version of 1611 actually read this way: (notice Him and He are now “It”).

Unbelievers love to point out that the word "trinity" is not in the Bible even though the concept certainly is found in many verses; one of which is in Matthew...
Mat 3:16-17..."And when Jesus was baptized, he went up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on him; and lo, a voice [God's] from heaven, saying, "This is [my-God's] beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."It is because of verses like this that the doctrine of the "trinity" began to be developed by the writers of the NT during the 1st century is clear, otherwise the above would not be in the Bible at all.
Oh, so the one who consistently avoids scripture finds fault with my response to your "opinions"?? I post a LOT of scripture and not much opinion in comparison to you....as I did with this one you avoided along with many other scripture supported post.Your opinion not a quote from Scripture.
You don't seem to produce anything of any value worth discussing. Therefore, you are wasting my time.
Oh, the word rapture is not in the Bible either but I can guarantee you there are words that do indicate a "rapture" at the end of the world.
The End.
Absolutely true. Jesus died. And also absolutely true, God cannot die. But man can die. Which is precisely why the Son of God became man. Unfortunately, most Christians don't believe Jesus actually died. They think his Spirit/soul whatever continued to live elsewhere. They accept the testimony of the devil from the garden of Eden..."ye shall not surely die". But divinity in the form of man did fully pay the price for our sin. Death.Jesus died. This is how we know he is not God for it means that Jesus is changing, not eternal.
Simple. No one knows the time or day of the second coming.Prove I'm wrong with scripture, not just your opinion which means zilch. That is just meanness.
Quite the opposite. Most Christians do believe that Jesus died and rose again after three days and three nights. But you have a faulty understanding of physical death, and that is the reason for your remark. While the body of Christ lay in the tomb, His soul and spirit were in Sheol/Hades. Which totally demolishes any "Soul Sleep" doctrine. Indeed, while He was there Christ preached to the spirits in prison. And those spirits were very much alive in Sheol/Hades.Unfortunately, most Christians don't believe Jesus actually died.
Can you please give me the full sense of what you mean when you say "Jesus died?"Jesus died.

Yep, like I said. "Yes shall not surely die". In other words you believe you were saved by a human sacrifice. While the body of Christ lay in the tomb, His soul and spirit were in Sheol/Hades.
The concept of the one God is proven false by the storyline and that is so simple to see two Gods interacting in the Gospels and two Gods referring to each other ....and then there is the Holy Spirit. I have pointed out a couple hundred ways why it is false.

Hello @Enoch111,
You say that (quote) 'while the body of Christ lay in the tomb, His soul and spirit were in Sheol/Hades.'
* The body energised by the spirit (or breath of life) is a living soul. The Lord Jesus Christ, while on the cross, commended His spirit unto God, before giving up the Ghost (Luke 23:46). His body lay in the grave (sheol/Hades - or 'the place of the dead') until it was quickened by the Spirit, by which (Spirit) He went and preached unto the spirits (angels) in prison, who were disobedient, in the days of Noah (1 Peter 3:18-20, Jude 1:6).
* These were angel's, spirit beings, and not mankind.
In Christ Jesus
Chris
It's so funny how don't realize your own hypocrisy; don't hold yourself to standards you hold others to.Oh, so the one who consistently avoids scripture finds fault with my response to your "opinions"??
This is not in Scripture.Emmanuel = God with us = his name is Jesus.
