True. Michael the Archangel has been specifically assigned to Israel to watch over the Jews.

But Michael, when contending with devil about the body of Moses said "The LORD rebuke thee". So there's your answer. Michael is ultimately accountable to the Lord, and the Lord sends Michael to do battle with the devil and his evil angels just before the reign of the Antichrist (Rev 12-13). Christ could wipe that whole gang out with one word. but He chooses to let Michael and his holy angels do battle.

The Catholics (and perhaps the Orthodox) have made Michael into Saint Michael. But angels and archangels cannot be designated as "saints". Only the redeemed of the Lord.
Actually, the word saint means holy one and hassidim is applied to the Angel's in old Testament scripture.

I think it is the J W's that believe Jesus is Michael the archangel.
Is Michael the Archangel Jesus?
The founders of the JWs went to great effort to deny Christ, creating their own corrupted version of scripture called the New World Translation that alters all passages that equate Jesus to God. Not much different from the Koran in that respect.

The Son defers to the Father....The Father is revealed in the Son....that's the order.
Yes, but no one knows the Father but the Son, except those to whom the Son reveals Him. Yahshua is the fleshly tabernacle of YahaVah, and this is why Yahshua said " before Abraham was, I AM."

You might be stumbling over the definition of "angel". That word does not describe the attributes of a person...it is just a job description in the Bible...."messenger". We traditionally use the term too broadly...assuming it refers to a divinely created spiritual being. It's just a job description....one sent with a message. All divine beings in existence were created by God. Jesus was/is a messenger sent to humanity to reveal the Father and preach the Kkngdom. He was not created... He is the Creator. He created the "sons of God"....the supernatural beings who remain faithful to God. As well as the ones who have fallen. He Himself pre-exists them all...from eternity....He was not created.
Amen and Amen

I agree with you for the most part, but Jesus redeemed creation by His shed blood, not just the "saved." He owns it all and so judgment is His (He is the inheritor of all things and His saints receive a share in that inheritance. )

Important to this discussion I think is the council of Rome removed references to all archangels but Michael.
Gabriel is in scripture, but archangel doesn't precede his name.

1. The Bible does not say that Christ "redeemed creation by His blood". His blood is applied to the souls of only those who repent and believe on Him (Rev 1:5). These are the redeemed of the Lord.

2. Christ died for all humanity, but all will not be redeemed, since all will not obey the Gospel.

3. Creation will be redeemed only after the total and supernatural burning up of the earth and its atmosphere. Following that the New Heavens and the New Earth will be established.

4. There is no redemption for evil angels. They will all be cast into the Lake of Fire.

l must be in reference to a created being.

INDEED! :)
Job 38:
2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

I have conversed with many JW's. I'm not sure I even know of any Bible verses they don't twist to change the actual meaning.

Perhaps you could help me in understanding what the kingdom hall doctrines are?

You are now saying I was defending kingdom hall doctrines in my trying to correct the "thoughting" that Jesus of Nazareth was Archangel Michael before he was Jesus of Nazareth?
Or?
I am defending kingdom hall doctrines in posting a video that makes a statement that God told this feller in the story that "He's not the kind ya hafta wind up on Sunday?"

Or perhaps you think I am defending kingdom hall doctrines in posting a video from a guy, who has probably done yours and my share of "wineing, and womanizing, and singing?"

I guess this means that you are not of a doctrine that would give credit to those "blind squirrels" that find a "nut" every now and again?
You should not entertain kingdom hall doctrines, you should not invite their followers into your home. They bring a false and consequently a cursed gospel with them and the scripture warns us that by welcoming them, we enter into their sin.
9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. 2 John 9-11

So we're judging the good Angel's? You do know that you're repeating teachings that are not explicitly stated in scripture? Just do a simple word search for "cast into" on the New Testament or limit it to the book of the revelation and read those verses without keeping that human doctrine in your mind and you'll recognize that the scripture says no such thing as your point number 4. The rest of your points are simply erroneous. Apparently you don't understand the meaning of the word redemption. All creation is redeemed by Christ's sacrifice, but not all enter into the New Covenant. Redemption is not salvation. These are two different words with two different meanings, and nothing inspired by God is in any sense random.

I found a few, because I did bring Jehovah's witnesses into my home to refute their doctrines and to share the gospel of salvation with them, and they were unable to answer those verses. Afterwards their elders came to my home and I was able to refute their doctrine and again had verses which they could not answer. They tried coming back a third time with different people, but the Holy Spirit reminded me of 2nd John so I turned them back with a warning that their doctrine was indeed Anathema Maranatha. They didn't try to corrupt my mind again after that.

Thank you for your input. :)

Maybe we might all consider the feelings of our JW members also?
They may not know they are being led astray. Gentle enlightenment to the truth of God in Christ may be a blessing.

Michael is not an angel at all. It is a faulty premise upon which to identify Him. He is the Captain of The LORD's host. At sea, "the Skipper (Captain) is 'God'." The name "Michael" means "one who is like God." Who is like God but Christ only? It is a study worth digging into. It is not settled in Hebrews 1. And it doesn't degrade the sovereignty of God in Christ one iota. Christ is King--Lord of all.
No. The name Michael is an exaltation or praise of God. "Who is like God!" If Yashua had a different name before His incarnation it would've been Yahhavah, the covenant name of God given to Moses.

In my opinion the founders of the Jehovah's witnesses were under the sway of the spirit of antichrist and their membership is enslaved by strong delusion. I don't enjoy being impolite, but their "bad news" is damning. The cults go after immature and biblically illiterate Christians and it would be better for them to have a millstone tied around their neck and to be cast into the ocean than to cause even one of His children to stumble. They aren't irredeemable and can receive the gospel, but you must tear down their strong towers with the word of God first and that is inherently violent. I dont believe there should be any place for the antichrist to lay a foothold on a Christian forum and such should not even be welcomed or entertained in our "house."

There is a very real danger in getting buddy buddy with deceivers. Jesus did not tolerate deceivers. Neither did Paul. Satan doesn't claim to be Satan.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (NKJV)
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

I think I'll leave you to your faith calling that affirms in you one is to be as you prefer when defending their religion.

Jesus, on the other hand, was kind to those whom his tradition considered out of favor, or less than the Jew.

While he was harsh toward those of the faith who presumed themselves above others not of their tradition. Calling them vipers and of their father the devil.

It is impossible to spread the good news of peace and love while acting the verbally offensive dolt.

Why? Because an asshole demeanor tells listeners there is no change to be afforded by holding faith in a teaching that leads one to behave as the fallen.

edited to add "t" to he devil, i. e the devil.

Bold to equate JW (Christians) with antiChrists.

Not sharing doctrine ≠ Deceivers.

My SIL recently escaped what he called the 'cult of Jaydub.' Most of his whole family is still in the cult, except for a cousin and his grandmother. To have a relationship with him and the grandkids, his parents have to violate the rules of ostracizing. It is sad and I can see the pain on my SIL's face when he talks about the 'Jaydub cult.' It's not just doctrinal.
