My wife's is aquamarine and mine diamond.Lovely. My birthstone.
Is not what the Bible says.Actually, "flesh and blood" since WE Christians are the New Jerusalem.
So you're saying the Bible is wrong.Yes for sure Willie...was waiting for someone to point it out. :)

So the Bible is wrong?Saying you are reading something into it that was never intended. This is close to the Catholics making a Pope out of Peter because of the sound of his name.
Not sure if it will be stacked stones or something else using those precious stones (since only God knows, and we are talking about a supernatural structure designed and built by God). But that is not 1400 miles, but 1500 miles x 1500 miles x 1500 miles. Can you picture 12 extremely thick foundations 1400 miles x 1400 miles stacked on each other out of the stones?
Next is the street... Pure gold.
Since we do not have pure gold on this earth, the closest we can get is 999.9 pure.
Also remember when the description was written for the Bible extremely clear glass had not yet been invented.View attachment 6238
As for the walls, it does not tell us what they will be made of.
Will it? What would such a "beautiful" be, in that case? One thing is for sure, it will be astoundingly beautiful!
Will it? What would such a "beautiful" be, in that case?
Are we not told all through the Bible not to judge worth and beauty by Earthly standards? And, was it not written of Jesus, Himself, that He was not handsome, that people would be attracted to Him for His looks?
And, are we not told to desire things "Above", rather that the beauty and riches found on this Earth? (Like gemstones)
I think we are often so shallow in how we relate Jesus' analogies to actual Earthly things.
