Not if you are Born Again..that would be impossible.

We have been Born Again of imperishable seed..that liveth and abideth forever...his word liveth and abideth forever in our hearts.imo.as the seed that was planted, was/ is the Living word of God.

What some need to realise is....much more heart knowledge of Gods character...to much intellect going on, imo...obviously we need intellect knowledge..but, we also need heart/ spirit revelation..if you get my meaning.

there's nothing about this we are not actively and mindfully participating in, in such a way that while it is God's work, it's still us wearing the clothes, instead of the other way around.

Great thinking! I agree with you, we are not in a mindless dance, we are living in unity with Christ. He is always consistent, we are the inconsistent ones, therefore, the admonitions are given to us, Put off the old, put on the new, like that.

God drove Adam from the garden to prevent him from becoming immortal, therefore, he was not yet immortal.

Knowing is a fullness of knowing, your intellect is as active as your spirit which rejoices.

God gave us our intellect. And He gave us His Word. Anything that contracts His Word is not of God.

I am physically alive, But I am at the same time spiritually dead.

And I will be until I am born again (if I was not already born again)

Its basic..

Body, soul, and spirit, except the spirit is dead, so we only have our soul to govern our lives, and it's corrupted by sin. Thoughts/emotions/memories/personality, all the soul. and all corrupt until we are reborn to have a living spirit, and then we go on to the renewing of the mind, that is, the repairing of that soul, or "psuche".

God gave us our intellect. And He gave us His Word. Anything that contracts His Word is not of God.

When we become Born Again..we have been given spiritual eyes and ears.

They need developing, and only those with the Spirit are developed...as they have been Born Again of incorruptible seed....

That’s how we know that the word of God is Alive in Spirit..because we have been Born of the Spirit.

Gods word is very easy to understand...but, it must be understood in the Spirit....that’s how we grow and mature in Gods spiritual truth...it’s food for our inner being.

We would never die if we stopped reading God’s word.

We would just never grow in Spirit and Truth.....there is nothing on the planet that comes anywhere near learning and understanding Gods word, via his Spirit.

Oh yes....a Born Again is being made into the image of Jesus.

Good point..what could have happened if God had left them in the garden?

Eating from the tree of life and becoming immortal. Being immortal means no death and more importantly no resurrection, so no repair of the corruption from sin. Just my thoughts there.

If you don't search the Scriptures and know what they say how do you know that is God you're learning from.

You could have gone to some event, had some kind of nice emotional experience, some false teacher could have led you through a prayer and said you were saved when you weren't.

That could have opened you up, willingly, to demonic spirits you only thought was God but wasn't.

If you don't know His written word you don't know.

While you can go to an extreme in one direction, you can also go to an extreme in another direction and be filled with the demonic.
