Titus wasn't (The Beast) of Revelation 13, (The Beast) will be destroyed at the Lord's "Future" second coming
Like I said earlier - its pointless you making comment on Rev 13 - you have revealed you dont understand the Olivet Prophecy or that Daniel 2 & 7 are recorded as continuous historic revelations. Hands off the Masters last words to his servants; not even a babe.

You say it achieved nothing?

Let's explore this shall we?

Luke 19:27 But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be their king, bring them here and slaughter them in front of me!

You think this is a Grim warning of AD70 for those who had no King but Ceasar?

F2F

Note: the language of James 5?
Your wandering off away from the text in Matthew 24, as the text itself proves your claims of 70AD fulfillment is "Wrong"

Daniel's AOD Matthew 24:15 is "Future" that will cause the Matthew 24:21 "Future" Great Tribulation, Jesus returns immediately after this "Future" Great Tribulation, and it didn't take place in 70AD Jerusalem

Matthew 24:29-30KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Now its just copy and paste - sad really.
If only would you acknowledge Daniel 2 & 7 are continuous historic revelations we could push on into the Revelation and there you could really learn the Masters final message to all those generations of the "things which must shortly come to pass!"
F2F
If you would only learn that Jesus returns "Immediately After" a future tribulation, and this tribulation didn't take place in 70AD as you falsely claim

@Truth when will you provide substance? Big smiles wont cut it!
The Truth, That You Reject In Denial

Pretty Hard To Have A 70AD Tribulation As You Claim, And Jesus Returning Immediatly After The Mentioned Great Tribulation, Thats A No Brainer

Where it states "we shall not all sleep" as to mean, not all will die in the Lord, referring to those alive at his coming.

Context: There were men among the Corinthian brethren who denied the resurrection.

22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.

You really need to follow Paul's thoughts in that chapter and not pluck one verse which you think supports your wrong teaching.

F2F

I'm not the one who is wrong. There will be some humans that never die and I have already proven it. Your verse does not contradict the other verse.

What I can conclude from our discussion so far is this.

You either deny the Continuous Historical Interpretation of Daniel and the succeeding empires, or, you are being dishonest in not admitting its truth. (I think the later)

I am unsure if you believe Babylon is a historical empire which previously existed, or a future kingdom yet to take place in the earth (none of your posts have determined either)

You deny the judgements Daniel was given concerning Israels sins and its city were fulfilled and seen in the end of Israels commonwealth at AD70.

You fail to acknowledge AD70 has prophetic fulfillment in the Word of God and in fact deny it achieved anything at all.

You fail to acknowledge Christ has become Prince of Armies and led a day of slaughter against Israel in AD70 as prophesied by himself and the Apostles.

You apply a one size fits all interpretation to Daniel and the Revelation and deny Christ gave each generations, historical events and visions of encouragement to hold onto while they anticipated the Lords coming, however you force the prophetic chapters of Revelation and jam them into a short period of tribulation.

So far, that is what I have gleaned from your posts.

No, you have proven that when Christ comes those alive will not sleep; this is true but they will be changed if found faithful.
As we have clearly stated...all in Adam die just as all who are found to be in Christ will be made alive at his coming.

Which means they will not die, as the verse says.

Yes, the Lords words there have a latter day application, but the primary audience was present day Israel.

Matthew 24:28 Wherever the corpse is, there the eagles will gather.

We have already talked about this 7.

The symbol of the Roman Legions....fulfilment of Deut 28:25-26; 49-50 cmp Dan 8:23-24 – for identification with Rome.

So obvious.

Not so, all die (even Christ)...some remain dead, while others are raised to life. That's the hope of the resurrection. If you believe is spirits wafting to heaven etc Pauls teaching in 1 Corinthians 15 will make no sense whatsoever.

Your 100% correct, I deny the false teaching in reformed historic ism

70AD Jerusalem played no part in Matthew 24 fulfillment, Daniel's AOD, The Great Tribulation and Second Coming seen are future events unfulfilled

Rome and its popes haven't been a continuous fulfillment as historicism teaches, (The Beast) of Revelation 13 is a future human man, Mystery Babylon is Jerusalem, not Rome as reformed eschatology teaches

Re Matthew 24

Luke 21:24 “Jerusalem shall be trodden down”.
2 Sam 5:6-7, “Trodden under foot” Dan 8:13.

Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to him, “How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled—the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, the surrender of the sanctuary and the trampling underfoot of the Lord’s people

Yes, the Lords words there have a latter day application, but the primary audience was present day Israel.
Your catching on, yes the second coming seen below takes place after a "Future" great tribulation

Pretty hard to have a 70AD tribulation as you claim, and a second coming of Jesus immediately after it, when we all know the Lord's return is future

This one fact alone puts reformed eschatology's claims of 70AD fulfillment in the trash can

Jerusalem being trodden under foot is "Future" that will see the literal prophets returned as the (Two Witnesses) who will bring literal plagues upon this literal world, a remake of Moses/Aaron against Pharaoh of Egypt

Revelation 11:2-6KJV
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

What happens 7 with these types of discussions, is the incessant claim of "this is future" rings a little too loudly in people’s ears, to the point many say "are you serious!?" the weight of Scripture that stands against your understanding is too great.

Already in my responses you have so many posts left unanswered - all the supporting references that show you Continuous Historical Method is the correct appraoch to interpreting Daniel and the Revelation.

Lets see how much you know then shall we?

Tell me about the context of this verse 2

Why the court without the Temple?

If you think this is speaking about the literal Temple in Jerusalem that was destroyed in AD70 you have rocks in your head. Also it's not speaking about a rebuilt one either!

Revelation is highly symbolic, so explain why this is referring to the court without the Temple.

Also explain why they are told not to measure it.
