Hah! I was just talking with someone about this. I said I had actually come to like the testing of my trust. How could you not come to like what makes your feet more sure and steady?

I Love how Paul shows here that this Patience we learn then leads us to be vessels of spreading the love of God to others.... Reminds me of 1 corinthians 13, "Love is patient". (1 Corinthians 13:4)

There was a time I asked God to send me tests to grow my faith. When some things would come up, I would fail and fail again...then remember when I asked Him to send these things my way. I kind of pray for that a bit less now

The LORD has placed someone in my life that is a newborn believer that has had a rough hard life, It is a trial of patience but through it all I know God's love for that person is being shown through me.... I am by no means a perfect vessel for this love but through this he is bringing growth and healing in my life as well. Please Pray for myself and this wonderful person he has put in my life That God's will is done through myself, and the relationship is allowed to blossom according to His will. God gave us a wonderful sign that this was from Him, One that she saw with me, but she has so much hurt from past relationships she has a hard time trusting.

It doesn’t matter if you pray for it less! He still brings to you whatever sufferings and testings will grow your trust. It doesn’t matter if the child asks for more peas or not! The child will eat more peas and sit at the table until he finishes them if the parents deem it’s what is good for the child! He will even go without the sweet dessert until he learns to eat what is given him for his growth. So eat your peas Nancy! The sweet will come after. Lol.

I Do not know why but The proverbial quote from the Rock band Pink Floyd came to mind here... "If you don't eat your meat you can't have any pudding, How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat." I Know they were mocking this mentality in that song, so I am not condoning their music by any means, but there is a lot of truth in this.

Okay, I love peas. And you are correct, they still come, and come, and come...

Gratefulness in the heart for tribulations isn't something that you can fake, and shows maturity in the faith.

Much love!

God bless you! Would love to find a lost soul to help out. I know many of them, just don't have ears to hear..
