Great response. Really productive input from you, as usual. What you're saying only applies to unbelievers. You're not looking at the whole story.
Another gospel according to Spiritual Israelite.

There is no such thing as productive input in a conversion with you, you twist or ignore any verse in the Bible that goes against what you believe.Great response. Really productive input from you, as usual.
Do you believe that the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly as a thief in the night and will bring sudden destruction upon Christ's enemies from which they will not escape? That's right!
As for the Day of the Lord, I'm not certain enough to say when it starts and when it ends, but midway through the 70th week at the 7th trumpet seems a likely beginning point to me.
Much love!
Yet, you are completely incapable of proving that, as you've shown repeatedly. You can't even discern that 1 Cor 15:42 is about the resurrection of the body despite the surrounding verses making that as clear as can be.There is no such thing as productive input in a conversion with you, you twist or ignore any verse in the Bible that goes against what you believe.
You conform the Bible to you rather than conforming yourself to the Bible.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-4 KJVDo you believe that the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly as a thief in the night and will bring sudden destruction upon Christ's enemies from which they will not escape?
They believe what Ice T tells them it means.I'll make it simple, what do pre-tribs believe the APOSTASIA means?
I would respect your arguments if you would stick with the argument and explain how “no brightness in it” doesn’t really mean “no brightness in it” because the Hebrew word really means blah blah blah, but that’s not what you do you.Yet, you are completely incapable of proving that, as you've shown repeatedly. So, I take this as a yes? Why would you say this happens in the middle of the 70th week? Why would you think that "sudden destruction" takes 3.5 years? That doesn't seem very sudden to me.1 Thessalonians 5:1-4 KJV
1) But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4) But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Much love!
Do you create doctrines out of just one verse? That's lunacy. Other verses show that there is no brightness in it for unbelievers, but there is for believers.I would respect your arguments if you would stick with the argument and explain how “no brightness in it” doesn’t really mean “no brightness in it” because the Hebrew word really means blah blah blah, but that’s not what you do you.
I take all of scripture into consideration instead of creating a doctrine out of one verse like you do. Your cherry picking approach is the same as what the cults use to interpret scripture. You just start adding text to the verse that’s not there. I think on this one you said there is light in the day of the Lord for Christ's people who will be gathered to him on that day.
That verse doesn’t say that and you’re crazy for ADDING to the word of God to make it say what you want it to say.
You guys and your "gotcha questions". Do you recall I spoke of uncertainties and possible likelihoods? Anyway, I've gotten kind of tired of all this contrariness, it does get old.So, I take this as a yes? Why would you say this happens in the middle of the 70th week? You couldn't even answer such a simple question. So there ya' go.They believe what Ice T tells them it means.![]()
What are you talking about? Can you reconcile your belief with 1 Thess 5:2-3 or not? What you call a gotcha question serves the purpose of reflecting a weakness in your doctrine and you don't like that. You guys and your "gotcha questions".
Yeah. And..? I'm just helping you to see a hole in your doctrine. I thought you said you like learning new things?Do you recall I spoke of uncertainties and possible likelihoods?
You get tired of your doctrine being exposed as false? Is that what you're saying? I honestly don't know what you are saying here.Anyway, I've gotten kind of tired of all this contrariness, it does get old.
Where did I say that in that post? Nowhere. It seems like you're trying to distract from the fact that what you said about the day of the Lord doesn't line up with what scripture says about the day of the Lord. And you seem to be embarrassed about that and now you're trying to make things personal in response. No, you're being ridiculous. No, that doesn't make any sense. No, on and on, and does any one of you actually understand what I think? It doesn't seem like it.
Yeah, this is typical of you to do this instead of addressing challenges to your view. It's not surprising.Anyway, if I feel like dropping back in, you'll see me, otherwise, I'm dropping out from here.
Much love!
There is not one single verse in the Bible that contradicts another verse. If one verse says there’s no light in it then you will not find another verse in the Bible that contradicts it.Do you create doctrines out of just one verse? That's lunacy. Listen to all these "you" statements! It would be like you knew me except you don't.reflecting a weakness in your doctrine and you don't like that.

Of course. We all believe that. There is not one single verse in the Bible that contradicts another verse.
Context is important. You miss that the context of that statement is in relation to unbelievers, as other verses show. But, you'd rather form a doctrine out of that one verse while ignoring the rest of scripture. So be it.If one verse says there’s no light in it then you will not find another verse in the Bible that contradicts it.
I obviously disagree that the verse disagrees with my view. And I have other verses that do agree with my view, so I will be like you and say that you throw those verses out.You don’t take all scripture into consideration, you just throw out verses that don’t agree with your view just like you’re doing with this verse.
Translation: you don't want to deal with how 1 Thess 5:2-3 doesn't support what you said about the day of the Lord. To get around that and distract from that, you're attempting to make things personal.Listen to all these "you" statements! It would be like you knew me except you don't.
What I said was, I've become tired of the contrariness, and your post above serves well to illustrate my point.
Have a blessed day, enjoying much love!
It is best you read post 235 and believe every word spoken by the LORD and His Holy ApostlesI'll make it simple, what do pre-tribs believe the APOSTASIA means?

He takes it personally any time his view is challenged. I was not making things personal at all. I was just showing how what he said about the day of the Lord doesn't agree with what scripture says about the day of the Lord. I don't know why anyone would come here to debate scripture if they can't handle disagreements and aren't prepared to defend their doctrine.i totally forgot about 1 Thess 5: 2-3
THANK YOU Brother and GOOD Word
