Not an interpretation, Jesus actually said those things, they are clearly said.In your opinion.
No they didn’t do it..the Holy Spirit birthed my spirit,he testifies Of Jesus on the cross and God who is Almighty.
We can hear God because he relays his message to us via his Holy Spirit....God is to big to send me a message, hence we must be Born Of The Spirit..not Jesus and not God.
That’s your interpretation of scripture...not mine.
It was the will of the Father that I be grafted into the vine, Jesus had to die and be resurrected in order for that to happen...Jesus didn’t deliver me out of the bondage of sin, the Father had already chosen me and predestined me to become his child, before the foundation of the world....just like he had chosen and predestined to send Jesus to be the messiah,Good Morning Wrangler and a BIG THANK YOU for your posts as they are quite revealing to say the least.
i know you appreciate logic so i have a 'logic' question for you.
JESUS said: "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
@Wrangler @Aunty Jane believe that the FATHER did this "Work" when HE delivered the Israelites from bondage to Pharoah/Egypt
Deuteronomy 5:6-7
I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
‘You shall have no other gods before Me.
GOSPEL
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
GOSPEL
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
QUESTION - Who did the Greater Work?
The FATHER delivering the Israelites from bondage under Pharoah/Egypt
or
the SON who delivers those bound by sin unto Eternal Forgiveness and Eternal Life?
No, I go by the testimony of the Holy Spirit..not yours or wrangler. It looks like he succeeded. - LOL

What is the testimony of the Holy Spirit to the Question from Post 963???No, I go by the testimony of the Holy Spirit..not yours or wrangler.
I’ve just given it David.i can’t help it if you don’t understand it now can I.What is the testimony of the Holy Spirit to the Question from Post 963???
Your Post 1003 did not address the Question from Post 963I’ve just given it David.
Yes, but Jesus did free you from Sin as He saidIt was the will of the Father that I be grafted into the vine, Jesus had to die and be resurrected in order for that to happen...Jesus didn’t deliver me out of the bondage of sin, the Father had already chosen me and predestined me to become his child, before the foundation of the world....just like he had chosen and predestined to send Jesus to be the messiah,
It’s because of Jesus death etc, that I have been set free from sin, my Gods mercy and grace...hence becoming Born Of The Spirit ...The Holy Spirit who witnessed that truth to my spirit.
I don’t worship Jesus @David in NJ i only worship God...I thank Jesus from the depths of my heart for dying for my sin..then I thank the Father for his indwelling Holy Spirit..who is at work in my heart, making me into Jesus image , we should also bear fruit of the Spirit, if we are truly Born Again .
Sorry David, I did , only you don’t understand my answer do you? Imo.Your Post 1003 did not address the Question from Post 963
No worries, take your time.
Jesus was God. And he is God. And he was with God.The trinity* is not in the Bible. Only be reading what is not there does Scripture ‘prove’ the trinity, which is no proof at all.
* What verse says something like The nature of God is a trinity - consisting of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit who are co-equal, co-substantial and co-eternal- and if you do not believe this, you cannot be saved but are damned to hell forever.
He played a part in freeing me from sin.....God set me free from my sin, by his power.Yes, but Jesus did free you from Sin as He said
The Truth Shall Make You Free
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
33 They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

God has chosen to reveal Himself in different ways at different times.
And in the last Days He has done this by the Son, which is much more direct and personal.
*******************************************************************************************************
God, who [a]at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things,
Once again, Even in my version of the word. if something is missing in a text or ir something is say in the NASB but not in the KJV. then I would see in the bible I use, and the logos bible software I use that it is in the text. Now I'm having the argument with you Eternally - how does that work?
John 6:46 is often placed in parentheses in certain Bible translations (such as the NET Bible) because it is considered a later addition to the text. This verse does not appear in some of the earliest and most reliable manuscripts of the Gospel of John. Scholars believe that it may have been inserted later by a scribe to clarify or emphasize a point about Jesus' relationship to the Father, aligning with the themes of divine revelation and the nature of Christ's knowledge.
God determined your salvation from before time began as Paul shows us here, Christ was just as relevant as God in how that was worked out in your life.He played a part in freeing me from sin.....God set me free from my sin, by his power.
where do you want to start?
I never said Jesus wasn’t relevant..careful with your words, Brother, don’t make my words say what you want them to say, thank you.God determined your salvation from before time began as Paul shows us here, Christ was just as relevant as God in how that was worked out in your life.
1 Tim 2
8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, 10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 11 to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher [c]of the Gentiles. 12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.
********************************************************************************************************
So God determined before time to save someone, and then in their time they trusted in Christ, sealing them into their holy calling
This is written to and for all the Saints of God who are in Christ today as an explanation
And our salvation is to the praise of His glorious grace towards us.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God,
To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He [a]made us accepted in the Beloved.
7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and [b]prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, [c]both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who[d] is the [e]guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
Well, you said Christ had a part, but really they had an equal part.I never said Jesus wasn’t relevant..careful with your words, Brother, don’t make my words say what you want them to say, thank you.
In my study of the book of Acts I have found direct references to Jehovah, even though his name is not specifically mentioned. The most interesting thing about the matter is that although the name is not mentioned, the referenced passages of the OT do mention him, and that forces me to think: why do Christians ignore the God of the OT if in the NT they have direct references to him? What verse says that YHWH goes by a different, Earthly name?
Then I suggest you stop going by your own assumptions.Scott.Well, you said Christ had a part, but really they had an equal part.
I got the impression Christ had a minor part by what you said.
Making assumptions are dangerous..don’t assume what I’m thinking thank you.Since Christ was without beginning or ending, uncreated, they are of the same nature as God, Father and Son together.
You say Jesus had no beginning, but the Scriptures call Jesus "the firstborn of all creation" in Col. 1:15.Since Christ was without beginning or ending, uncreated, they are of the same nature as God, Father and Son together.
