Why do you think God’s Word got it wrong?

If the Early Church Fathers got it right to invent the doctrine of the trinity and the trinity is not in God’s Word, the only conclusion is the 66 books of the Bible got it wrong, incomplete at best.
It did not get it wrong

Jesus is God. Who took human form. And lived a life free from sin. Who died on the cross 2 deaths. One of which took the payment of sin for all mankind so that whoever believes in him, will never perish but will live forever.

The Fact that God spoke creation into existence as word... and Jesus is the WORD who "was God"... John 1:1,...... is more then ample proof that anyone can see, who wants to know the truth., and not just argue.
This and Is 48 are two passages which leave no doubt.

There is at least one definitive scripture that declares JESUS is God

We see this in the Apostle John's Gospel beginning in chapter 1

@Wrangler @Eternally Grateful @Ritajanice

Here is a passage of scripture where JESUS declares Himself as God = Matthew 19:16-26
Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?”

17So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

18He said to Him, “Which ones?”

Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ 19‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

20The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?”

21Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

22But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possession

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

25When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”

26But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Jesus also failed to tell Thomas that Thomas got it wrong. When Thomas called Jesus God.

I mean he corrected everyone who got it wrong. So i guess Thomas got it right, in fact, He praised Thomas for getting it right

Was Jesus Born with a divine nature?

Scripture please.

@Wrangler ..yes, Jesus was baptised with the divine nature, as you said, just like we were.
We are honoured to be partakers Of that divine nature.,
Jesus was baptised in the Spirit, just as the word says....as are we by divine heart revelation.Born Of The Spirit!!

Major heart revelation there for me imo..

EXACTLY! Doctrines are from man. This explains why the trinity is not in Scripture.
No it does not

trinity is a doctrine which was put together taking the word of God All doctrines are based on this. It does not mean they are not from God.

now their may be some false doctrines out there. But it does not mean the doctrines that are scriptural myust be false also

again, Trinity is just a doctrine that says there are three distinct induviduals who are not the same person, but all have the essence and character of God (Ie they are not created beings)

Matt 1: 22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace

We as the Born Again are partakers of the divine nature, @David in NJ @Wrangler

2 Peter 1:4King James Version (KJV) whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Yes. I would add an exegesis of Paul’s use of pleroma – translated as “fullness” – twice in Colossians and twice in Ephesians. In Colossians, Paul attributes to Christ the fullness of God, Colossians 1:19 (“For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell”); Colossians 2:9 (“For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily”). And in Ephesians, he hints at that same fullness present in Christ being transferable to humanity, Ephesians 3:19 (“and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God”); Ephesians 4:13 (“until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”). For Paul, there was at least some sense in which mankind could, through Christ, attain to the divine.

Athanasius’ fourth century work On the Incarnation famously states “God became man that man might become God.” He wasn’t blaspheming that we would all become equal to God. He was commenting on restoration of mankind’s union with God.

Clement of Alexandria, in the first chapter of his Exhortation to the Heathen, writesI say, the Word of God became man, that you may learn from man how man may become God.”

Origen, in the third chapter of his Contra Celsus, writes “from Him there began the union of the divine with the human nature, in order that the human, by communion with the divine, might rise to be divine.”

I’d like to hear from those who don’t believe that Father/ Son / Holy Spirit .are 3 in one.

Please support your belief using scripture?

I do believe that the word Trinity is not biblical, am I right ?

Tri is a prefix denoting three…
nity…unity denotes adjoined…

The word “Trinity” does not appear in Scripture…

However other Names, Descriptions, Titles reveal the One Heavenly God is the “us” “our” “thee”, “thy”, “thou”, “one” Scripture speaks of…
Examples:

Gen 1:
[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:

Matt 28:
[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

John 10:
[30] I and my Father are one.

Rev 11:
[17] Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

One Lord God Almighty has multiple facets… as mans similitude of multiple facets….
Of names, descriptions, titles, tasks they accomplish, Sometimes the servant, sometimes the served…

Glory to God,
Taken

Isaiah 9:6

King James Version

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

None of this scripture shows that Jesus was Born with the divine nature.

The Lord's will be done @David in NJ and I can empathize with you.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

Psalm 9:9–10
The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble.
And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Psalm 18:6
In my distress I called upon the LORD;
to my God I cried for help.
From his temple he heard my voice,
and my cry to him reached his ears.

Psalm 50:15
and call upon me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.

Psalm 55:22
Cast your burden on the LORD,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved.

Psalm 71:20–2
You who have made me see many troubles and calamities
will revive me again;
from the depths of the earth
you will bring me up again.
You will increase my greatness
and comfort me again.

Psalm 119:50
This is my comfort in my affliction,
that your promise gives me life.

Psalm 145:9–10
The LORD is good to all,
and his mercy is over all that he has made.
All your works shall give thanks to you, O LORD,
and all your saints shall bless you!

Isaiah 40:31
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 41:10
fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 55:9
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Nahum 1:7
The LORD is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him.

New Testament
Matthew 11:28–29
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

John 14:1–4
Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.

John 16:33
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

Romans 8:16–17
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

Romans 8:24–25
For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Romans 8:37–39
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Romans 15:4
For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

2 Corinthians 1:3–7
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort.

2 Corinthians 4:7–10
But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.

2 Corinthians 4:16–18
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 12:9–10
But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

James 5:14–15
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

1 Peter 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Johann.
