Elohim which is plural…but not a plurality of gods, the plural of majesty…..the “royal we” if you like…What is the Hebrew word used for 'God' in the Scriptures?
Where Apostolic truth differs from Trinitarianism is in the true nature of Christ and understanding the Holy Spirit. If Yahweh is accepted as being Deity alone, then truth can be discovered. However, once you redefine these through a Trinitarian lens, you risk losing the essence of truth. What you may not fully appreciate is how many core doctrines arise from a correct understanding of Christ. The nature of Christ, His relationship with the Father, and the role of the Holy Spirit are foundational to a proper understanding of the Gospel, and any distortion in these areas can lead to a distortion of many other key teachings.I don't think your beliefs are as far apart as you make out. Looking at this post your beliefs are not all that different from those who believe in the Trinity. It's trying to define something that we don't understand.
David isnt privy to Elohim usage in Genesis (OT) as he would force his 3n1 dogma on the text. It's so cancerous it rots everything it touches.Elohim which is plural…but not a plurality of gods, the plural of majesty…..the “royal we” if you like…
I hoped that would be your answer. As to Jesus being the Son of God, the long awaited Messiah, who died for our sins and was resurrected -- that stuff I DON'T find equivocal.
For example:I don't think your beliefs are as far apart as you make out. Looking at this post your beliefs are not all that different from those who believe in the Trinity. It's trying to define something that we don't understand.
One thing you have in common, you think your view is the only one that can be correct,Where Apostolic truth differs from Trinitarianism is in the true nature of Christ and understanding the Holy Spirit. I would say that the Apostolic view is the one that can be harmonized with the true Gospel as shown by Paul in Romans and the writer to the Hebrews. The Trinity is silent in these two great Gospel works, yet the true nature of Christ stands as the central theme. One thing you have in common, you think your view is the only one that can be correct,
The use of gods in relation to angels and saints is well extablished teaching. I have no problem with the use of the words gods for those with divine nature....or have the promise of it!Elohim which is plural…but not a plurality of gods, the plural of majesty…..the “royal we” if you like…
This is very much simpler than many make it out to be.
God has simply shown Himself in multiple ways. An example would be when Jesus was pressed on this subject, He said, "He who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9).
The confusion comes when He speaks about Himself in third person...as Jesus did referring to the Holy Spirit whom He would send after returning to the Father.
The simplest example of the truth regarding the Trinity idea, is: Me, Myself, and I. In this way, God simply referred to Himself in third person--just as we often do. Even people can and do refer to themselves as, for example, a son, a father, and a person of title, like Private, or Manager, etc. Unfortunately, what many do not consider with God they are fine to do regarding people. For instance, in telling someone about their managerial duties, it would seem completely normal not to mention the fact that they are also a son or a father, or both.
The scriptural support of this comes by God through the prophet Isaiah, saying that the knowledge that is revealed to us--even about God Himself, comes to us "here a little, there a little" (Isaiah 28:10). Which is to be put together in the end, making true the statement, "the Lord your God, He is the One" (Deuteronomy 31:6). Even so, many do not connect the dots, resulting in all manner of religious nonsense.
Does that mean there is a Trinity? Of course, in a manner of speaking...and then some!
How do you know it is not the Plurality of the Echad Elohim being FATHER/WORD/HOLY SPIRIT ???Elohim which is plural…but not a plurality of gods, the plural of majesty…..the “royal we” if you like…
Scriptually, your summation is an impossibility = according to Scripture/God's Word
It's truth and if its hidden from you then yes, this is the type of response one would expect.Scriptually, your summation is an impossibility = according to Scripture/God's Word
Human reasoning cannot ascend UPward to God apart from His Grace.
You error is not hidden but is easily seen and exposed by God's Word = the Holy Scriptures. It's truth and if its hidden from you then yes, this is the type of response one would expect.

Wow...what happened? How did I miss it?From today!
Let’s start discussing.
Father/ Son / Holy Spirit...all 3 are one...Amen or not Amen?
Because you have adopted external error, you have no way of seeing clearly what has already been revealed to you in the Old Testament foundation. The language of creation—both physical and spiritual—has been set out clearly, but through the lens of external doctrine, it becomes obscured. You fail to see how the Logos, the Word of God, brought both the physical world and spiritual realities into being. The Old Testament reveals a singular God and His creative power, and understanding this context helps to see Christ as the fulfillment of that creation, not as a separate entity within a Trinitarian framework. If you understood God Manifestaton through mighty Ones then you would see the Christ clearly. You don't and can't while you hold T dogma. You error is not hidden but is easily seen and exposed by God's Word = the Holy Scriptures.
Evidence A - John 1:1-5
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.
Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.
In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.
The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
