It stands to reason that a thing that is "second" must resemble whatever was "first".

There was no "first" resurrection of Jesus, was there? But, there was a first "coming to Earth" of Jesus.

BIG DANGER when looking for the LORD before His STATED Return

Now that ticked my funny bone Brother. First off He said no one knows when it will be. You are confusing two events and thinking that they are one event. The Rapture is oe event when Jesus comes for His people. The 2nd coming is when Jesus comes to down evil and He sets up His Millenial Kingdom.

In one event, we are told no one knows the day or hour, only the Father knows.
In another even, we know that when Israel signs a 7 year peace covenant with (the oppsing forces) that the Tribulation has begun and in 1260 days the antichrist will commit the abomination of desolation in the temple and show himself to be God. That starts the Great Tribulation and 1260 days after that is when Jesus returns to put down evil.

In one event, He comes as a thief in the night, by surprise.
In another event, every eye will see Him, every knee will bow.


We will be able to calculate the exact day of Jesus return by the treaty and scripture. But if the other event is by surprise, then it has to be before the Great Trib.
How much before we dont know.

Further study of Daniel show us that, they were told in scripture, from the decree to rebuild is 62 weeks and then two more weeks and I dont have all my notes in front of me but if you go though it and do the math it figured to be 178,000 days and that day turned out to be the very day that Jeus made His triumphant Entry into Jerusalam, down to the day. And they didnt know it. April 2nd (I think) was the exact day and then He was crucified the next day or two.

If the Lord came down on Israel for not knowing that day and being ready for Him, then He wont put up with that in the future either.

There is no point to rapture because it doesn’t exist. This is what happened to Gods people during the great tribulation.

I do believe there was people whom were the bride who were gathered and taken by Jesus, in 70Ad. During or before destruction with Gods wrath poured out Jerusalem.

I don’t have proof but it’s faithfully believed in, but yes today the gist is, we die and are resurrected and we go on to meet Jesus, God, or Paul who might be at the gate or someone, I think judgement happens immediately upon death, some may get to go into the city some may not.

That’s what I believe about the whole thing and I completely accept and agree with what you are saying other than just that one part. However that’s just me, good work in my opinion, @IndianaRob.
