OT believers….were men WHO…believed IN God and His Word….
(God Word’s “name” was secret to them…so they could not believe “in JeSUS”….or Gods title of His “power, wisdom, seed”…(CHRIST) was not revealed to them.
They could not have CONFESSED belief IN Jesus, IN Christ…yet they who Believed in God….and mortally (bodily) died believing in God…

The Lord…HAD to fulfill the Law…being not only sent by God…but..of the Israelites to fulfill the Law that ONLY one descended from King David….could sit on his ever lasting throne…

And thus Jesus took upon himself the SEED of Abraham of David….

Abraham having the title of Father of many Nations of this world…
David having the title of King…over the promised land.

Aw…darn…gentiles are not of that royal lineage….but, but, but….IF we be Christ’s we also take upon ourselves the seed of Abraham…and are made his sons…and rightful heirs to …. The promised land…

And THAt SEED “is” Christ.
