They are the "whosoever will" in John 3:16identify these chosen people, these children of promise. Do you know who they are?
Because they chose not to be sheep. Why did they reject the Lord Jesus Christ? Why did they not believe?
Do you not know that the Holy Spirit brings to life the Gospel in the heart of hearer who is dead to God?Tong2020 said: ↑
Yes, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Who are they who can hear? Are the dead able to hear unless God quickened them first? Now, if one does not hear, does that not say that they were not quickened?
When the Gospel is heard it demands a response, the Holy Spirit makes the Gospel alive and man must chose one way or the other, there is no in-between.

I know what the scripture teaches, you apparently dont. The Bible does not say what you want it to. It clearly says sinners not elect sinners. So if sinners only means the elect then the non elect must be righteous. This is the absurdity of your theology
This is the strawman. It doesn't exist. Not in the way you imagine it. God could not be angry at people and kill all but one family if the rest could not be saved because he didn't " elect" them.It is by the election of grace that God chooses. His choosing could only by be that which is consistent to His nature, His Deity.
In so doing, was there unrighteousness in God?
Because she had great faith. Not because he implanted great faith in her, but because she chose to believe. No I am not. Jesus was amazed. So? He also got hungry, wept, got tired, and so on. And why is that? I am sure you know why. Now, we know that the Son of God knows even the heart of man. That’s why He knows what faith the woman have. Now I ask you a similar question, why was He amazed?
Nope. Scriptures does not teach anything like that.Because they chose not to be sheep.Tong2020 said: ↑

Do you not know that Jesus said His sheep hear His voice and those who are not His sheep don’t? (John 10:26-27)

So are you suggesting that God does not choose by that which is consistent to His nature, His Deity? Well,....This is the strawman. It doesn't exist. Not in the way you imagine it. God could not be angry at people and kill all but one family if the rest could not be saved because he didn't " elect" them.Tong2020 said: ↑

Then it seems to me that you have a problem with the different ministries of the three distinct persons of God. And perhaps even with Jesus’ humanity and Deity. For if there isn’t then you will understand what i am saying concerning that.Because she had great faith. Not because he implanted great faith in her, but because she chose to believe.Tong2020 said: ↑

Of course it does.Nope. Scriptures does not teach anything like that.

Why could He not do as He please? Could He not elect only 8 out of all the peoples in the generation of Noah? It seems that you know better and is wiser and more just and righteous than God? Are you suggesting that God was unrighteous in killing all including little children, but a family of 8 who likewise were with sin like the rest and were spared by the grace of election?
No, I have a problem with the idea that God just zaps some people with faith. It's not biblical. And it makes no sense whatsoever to commend them for their faith if that's the case, yet we have a whole chapter in the Bible doing just that. Hebrews 11.Then it seems to me that you have a problem with the different ministries of the three distinct persons of God. And perhaps even with Jesus’ humanity and Deity. For if there isn’t then you will understand what i am saying concerning that.

I don’t deny scriptures. What I deny is your view or interpretation of it.You want proof, here it is, but you and all of the rest of you will deny it. May God have mercy on you!Tong2020 said: ↑

Do you not know that Jesus said His sheep hear His voice and those who are not His sheep don’t? (John 10:26-27)
Eph. 1:13
"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,"
There it is, you heard the Gospel, you believed the Gospel, you received the Holy Spirit!
No let's see you deny it, there is no doubt you will deny it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t deny scriptures. What I deny is your view or interpretation of it.
Where in there that it tells us that the Holy Spirit brings to life the Gospel in the heart of hearer who is dead to God?
Now, consider this scriptures:
John 10:26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.
Jesus said the reason they don’t believe that He is the Christ, is because they are not His sheep. What does that tell you? Does that not tell you that there are sheep of Jesus and not sheep of Jesus among Israel? Do you not understand by that, that those who believe that He is the Christ, believe because they are His sheep and not that they become sheep because they believe?
Now, take that truth and see what it does with what you contend there.

None of those scriptures teach what you teach that they rejected Jesus as the Christ and did not believe because “they chose not to be sheep.”Of course it does.Tong2020 said: ↑
Nope. Scriptures does not teach anything like that.
"You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? That’s what your ancestors did, and so do you!"
Isaiah 63:10
But they rebelled
And grieved His Holy Spirit;
Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy,
He fought against them.
Ephesians 4:30
Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
None of those scriptures teach what you teach that they rejected Jesus as the Christ and did not believe because “they chose not to be sheep.”
But here consider this scriptures:
John 10:26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.
Jesus said the reason they don’t believe that He is the Christ, is because they are not His sheep. What does that tell you? Does that not tell you that there are sheep of Jesus and not sheep of Jesus among Israel? Do you not understand by that, that those who believe that He is the Christ, believe because they are His sheep and not that they become sheep because they believe?

That’s what you want to believe, I can understand that. And such belief makes Noah and his family deserving to be saved because he is a righteous man? Or does not scripture say that He found grace in God that He and his family were spared? They were spared because Noah was a righteous man. Not because God randomly chose them out of all the people on the Earth.Tong2020 said: ↑

Well your problem then is not with me, for that is not my view. I’ve repeatedly told you my view, so I will not repeat it here. No, I have a problem with the idea that God just zaps some people with faith. It's not biblical.
