That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
The mystery that was his was that all along God had in his mind to bring Jew and gentile together in one body which is the church.

No. Paul said the mystery was that Jews and gentiles would be a part of the same body. They would no longer be seen as a second class citizen. They would be equal.. that is the mystery

This is a part of the mystery of the Church (redeemed Jews and Gentiles in one Body), which was not revealed to the OT prophets, but only to Paul.

But YOU... will be TAKEN in deception by the coming Antichrist, if you don't repent of that false pre-trib rapture doctrine, because Jesus taught the first one 'taken' are taken by the enemies of Jesus Christ! (Luke 17:36-37 and Matthew 24:28).

Be careful?? Those in Christ who listen to Him in HIS WORD don't need to be careful with rebuke. We need to be BOLD, and pray their wayward minds will come back to God's Word instead of their listening to doctrines of men!

The topic of discussion I've been having with @Taken is about the TIMING of the Church's gathering to Christ Jesus, not the mount of transfiguration event that happened even before Jesus had been crucified! I haven't been arguing against the "caught up" event of 1 Thess.4, but against the timing of it being before the great tribulation. The pre-trib rapture school instead believes the gathering of the Church is before... the tribulation, but Jesus showed His coming to gather the Church is AFTER... the tribulation (Matthew 24:29-31; Mark 13:24-27). So disprove those Scriptures if you can.

Are you another one of those young Bible students that is brainwashed on men's doctrine of a pre-trib rapture, and goes into The Bible looking for Scripture that may 'sound' like it supports such a false theory?? That's essentially what you just did with trying to use that mount of transfiguration example against what I've been declaring FROM Scripture.

Your view -- too much speculation. And it does not support a pre-trib rapture theory.

And just like others on man's false pre-trib rapture doctrine, you failed to even attempt to address the Matthew 24 and Mark 13 Scripture where Jesus showed His coming and gathering of the saints is AFTER... the tribulation. It is HIS WORD there you go against with holding to a pre-trib rapture theory. You're not going against my words, but HIS WORD as written in The Bible.

Now that is just silly! It cannot be all the above. Just saying such a thing means to leave... God's Holy Writ.

The "caught up" event of 1 Thess.4 that Apostle Paul taught is for the last day of this world. That is why he continued into the 1 Thess.5 chapter about the "day of the Lord", because it's the last day of this world when Jesus will return to gather His Church.

It will be terrible for the wicked and deceived. Didn't you read what Paul said in 1 Thess.5 about those in darkness, who travail as a woman with child, and that metaphorically sleep in the night and are drunken? Paul was pulling from the OT prophets there, about the events on the LAST DAY of this world, which is when the "day of the Lord" will occur.

For Christ's servants, the hot fiery furnace of Dan.3 heated 7 times hotter than necessary, is an example for Christ's faithful who remain steadfast waiting on Him. Were God's servants cast into it harmed?
