The problem many brethren have with those bullet points is from their listening to men's doctrines instead of studying all of God's Word for theirselves, asking God for understanding, and also lack of knowing its history.Thank You Davy,
This is new to me so i must digest it (takes time).
I do see how you see God keeping His Own throughout earthbound Historical Time within the Gospel.
God first split old Israel at 1 Kings 11 forward, creating two houses or kingdoms, each with specific labels. Some verses in the prophets mention both Judah and Israel in the same verse, and many think it's just speaking of all 12 tribes of Israel, when it is not. It is speaking of two separate kingdoms, the southern "kingdom of Judah" (3 tribes), and the northern "kingdom of Israel" (ten tribes). God gave Bible prophecies specific to each kingdom. So the first study to do is to learn what each separate kingdom was called in God's Word.
For example, the southern "kingdom of Judah", which was made up of three tribes, Judah, Benjamin, and Levi, was also called just "Judah", or "house of Judah", or "Jerusalem", or "Aholibah" in the Ezek.23 parable. While the ten tribed northern "kingdom of Israel" was sometimes called the "house of Israel", or just "Israel", or "Ephraim", or "Samaria", or "Joseph", or "Aholah" per the Ezek.23 parable. Only the southern "kingdom of Judah" used the title of Jew, that title origin being from the tribe of Judah (per Jewish historian Josephus).
So if one doesn't understand those different titles for the two separate kingdoms, they won't really know which tribes of Israel God gave a prophecy to. In the Book of Hosea, most of its prophecies are to the ten northern tribe "house of Israel", as God was getting ready to scatter the northern ten tribe kingdom for their falling away to false worship.
Sadly, many preachers have not even done that necessary Bible study. When they apply the title of Jews to all 12 tribes, it's easy to tell they haven't studied about God's split of old Israel into two separate kingdoms, each kingdom with its own names and prophecies.
