Or more like one is still in the carnal mind and not the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:14
Audio Crossref Comment Greek
Verse (Click for Chapter)
New International Version
The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

New Living Translation
But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.

English Standard Version
The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

Berean Standard Bible
The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned
The Holy Spirit is only given to those that hear and believe the Gospel, which leaves you out. "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" Romans 10:17. Which is the Gospel.

You are void of the Holy Spirit because you have rejected Christ and his Gospel as your only means of salvation.

Once again...LOL...nonsensical nonsense.

I have been Born Again of imperishable seed?

Now, I ask again....show me scripture where “ YOU” chose to become Born Of The Spirit?

And....how can you hear believe without the Spirit?

And if you believe you only need the death and resurrection of Jesus to be reconciled back to God.

Then you have been deceived....we must be Born Again not by the will of man....by the WILL OF GOD?

On the day of Pentecost 8,000 Jews heard Peter's Gospel and were born again, Acts 2:41 also Acts 4:4. They heard, they believed and they were born again. It was the preaching of the Gospel that birth to the New Testament Church. Nothing about John Calvin.

Prove using scripture that you heard and believed that you were Born Again..it’s not there, only God can make us Born Of The Spirit, we were predestined/ chosen by God to become Born Again before the foundation of the world.

You do well to believe, even the demons believed and shudder.

You need your spirit to be Born Again, you also need the gift of God given faith, those without the Spirit are none of his, period.

No one can come to the Father except through the Son...without Jesus there is no Born Again...Jesus had to die and be resurrected by God, then and only then are we able to receive the Spirit of God, by God making us Born Again,..then when we die, we too as Born Again children of God, will be resurrected and have resurrected bodies, my post is biblical...not John Calvin.

Your post is your own indoctrinated man made religion...we must be Born Again by the Spirit of God before we leave this earth...or we will never see the Kingdom of God....

The Kingdom of God can’t be seen...it can only be known when God makes us Born Again of imperishable seed...we need to have the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit....otherwise you lead yourself through scripture using your own intellect...which just sows confusion to one who is Born Again..your post makes no sense.because it’s man made nonsense.

Brought from Death to Life

Jesus was saying that every person without the outpoured Spirit from above is spiritually dead like the dry bones and cannot even see the Kingdom of God. In other words, a person without God’s Holy Spirit is purely “flesh” and has no spiritual eyes, ears or heart to see, hear and comprehend the message that Jesus came to bring. The Lord told Nicodemus unequivocally, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” (John 3:6). Only the Spirit of the living God can take dry bones, dead in trespasses and rebellion against God, and make them spiritually alive (Ephesians 2:1-5). The Spirit is like the wind that blows wherever he wishes (John 3:8), so we are absolutely dependent on the Holy Spirit to blow upon dead people to make them alive.

Absolute Importance of Being Born Again

Scripture is very clear that the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit comes only through the hearing of the Gospel promises (Romans 10:17). Only in the Gospel does the Spirit move to open up a person’s eyes, ears and heart through the Father’s gift of faith,
(Ephesians 3:8-9). The result is what Paul terms “the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5 NASB). Overall, a person must be radically born again by the wind of the Holy Spirit and raised up from the dead in their inner person, like the dry bones in Ezekiel’s vision. Without this radical transformation lived out until death, no one can enter the eternal Kingdom of God.

Praise God, that I am “ Born Again, by his Mighty hand.....an Honour and Privilege to be a child of the most HIGH!!!.

In Jesus Name.....Hallelujah!!..and AMEN!

Psalms 136:12-26

12 with a mighty hand and outstretched arm; His love endures forever.
13 to him who divided the Red Sea[a] asunder His love endures forever.
14 and brought Israel through the midst of it, His love endures forever.
15 but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea; His love endures forever.
16 to him who led his people through the wilderness; His love endures forever.
17 to him who struck down great kings, His love endures forever.
18 and killed mighty kings— His love endures forever.
19 Sihon king of the Amorites His love endures forever.
20 and Og king of Bashan— His love endures forever.
21 and gave their land as an inheritance, His love endures forever.
22 an inheritance to his servant Israel. His love endures forever.
23 He remembered us in our low estate His love endures forever.
24 and freed us from our enemies. His love endures forever.
25 He gives food to every creature. His love endures forever.
26 Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever.

John 15

King James Version

15 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.
23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

Yes, "Faith comes by: HEARING the word of God"

Also "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, so that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” (emphasis mine) or 1 Timothy 2:4-6 which says “[God] wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people.”

Jesus said that: "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."
John 12:32

IMHO, yes, there were some like Pharoah, Judas and others that the Lord used to His glory and I also believe that is because He "knows the end from the beginning" Isaiah 46:10

God knows who will seek Him, and who will harden their hearts to Him, He uses these as well as those who are faithful to Him. Before the foundations of the earth, God already knew who would choose to serve Him. He will harden a heart that is already going in that direction (IMO) if one continually resists the drawing of His Spirit (who convicts the world of sin, judgement and of righteousness)

"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:"
John 16:7-8

It would be very difficult, if impossible, for me to find it easy to worship a God who purposely created some to go to hell; and that to show His glory.

So, it could be a bit of both sides depending on how one looks at it.

God bless and love one another, amen!

@Nancy ..we don’t choose to be Born Again...we were chosen and predestined by God to become Born Again, imo/ belief...why should I deny what I believe?
And why should others deny what they believe?....he obviously calls us all very differently.

No one chooses to be Born of the Spirit....God initiates the whole process of drawing us to Jesus, etc,etc....everyone seems to believe very differently on this forum.

I can only believe the way God brought me to believe, same as others believe the way he brought them to believe. @Nancy ...

The Triumph of Faith
1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we havea peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we stand. And we rejoiceb in the hope of the glory of God.
3Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope.5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.
Christ’s Sacrifice for the Ungodly
(John 3:1–21)
6For at just the right time, while we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. 8But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9Therefore, since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from wrath through Him! 10For if, when we were enemies of God, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! 11Not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Death in Adam, Life in Christ
(Genesis 3:1–7)
12Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death was passed on to all men, because all sinned. 13For sin was in the world before the law was given; but sin is not taken into account when there is no law. 14Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who did not sin in the way that Adam transgressed. He is a pattern of the One to come.
15But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many! 16Again, the gift is not like the result of the one man’s sin: The judgment that followed one sin brought condemnation, but the gift that followed many trespasses brought justification.17For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive an abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
18So then, just as one trespass brought condemnation for all men, so also one act of righteousness brought justification and life for all men. 19For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
20The law came in so that the trespass would increase; but where sin increased, grace increased all the more, 21so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the entrance into eternal life. All that have faith and believe in him are born again by the Gospel. In Jesus Christ we have been justified, sanctified and redeemed, 1 Corinthians 1:30. Because of the doing and the dying of Jesus we can now stand before God as perfect and complete in Christ, Colossians 2:10. The only way any one can be saved is to be "In Christ". If God does not see you as perfect and complete in Christ, you will perish.

You make God out to be some sort of a mindless, heartless robot. You don't really have faith in God or in Jesus Christ, what you have faith in is the demonic doctrine of John Calvin.

Why should anyone believe you that you have been born again? It is simply your opinion.

I believe Gods word, and have been Born Again of imperishable seed.

You think that you have saving faith, but what you have is faith in the demon John Calvin.
I have God given faith..if you find that hard to understand...then I guess you need to take it up with God.

Born Again of imperishable seed?

The carnal mind has no understanding of spiritual matters.

I done give 2 hoots what you believe of me.

I
I know you don't. I am not asking why I should believe you. I am asking why anyone should believe you. You are the one hollering all the time about someone else simply giving an opinion without any scriptural support. What is your scriptural support that you have been born again. What in scripture says that you should even think you are?

Who said i want people to believe me @JBO ?

I believe God...what a silly post.

I’ve given you loads of scriptural support..try reading it.

You don’t even know what it is to be Born Again?

You think you were Born Again at birth?. @JBO

You have no spiritual knowledge or understanding...just like you have voiced..I too have voiced my opinion of your spiritual knowledge...you have none.

Like I said, I’ve posted reams and reams of scripture on becoming Born Again...I also gave my testimony...loads of times..scroll through my posts to find them, then challenge me?

As I say..you lack spiritual understanding...you are still in the intellectual mindset...boring listening to you.

You keep telling people that you are born again. I only assume that you want them to believe that.
I believe God...what a silly post.
You believe God what??
I’ve given you loads of scriptural support..try reading it.
You have given scriptural support for what you think how it happens but there is nothing that says it happened to you.
You don’t even know what it is to be Born Again?
Yeah, I do.
You think you were Born Again at birth?. @JBO
Of course not. That you would even ask the question says that you really don't even know what it means to be born again.
You have no spiritual knowledge or understanding...just like you have voiced..I too have voiced my opinion of your spiritual knowledge...you have none.
Of course that is just an opinion. I can say the same thing about you. But none of that answers my question about why anyone, and I mean anyone, should believe that you have been born again. There is no passage in the Bible that says it.

I speak Gods word?..support your post using scripture?
You believe God what??
This makes no Sense?
You have given scriptural support for what you think in happens but there is nothing that says it happened to you.
I have been Born Again....you have just voiced that Gods word doesn’t mean what I think it means.

That’s your opinion....because you don’t understand God’s word like I do...you say what you say...and no scripture to back up your opinion.
Yeah, I do.
Yeah you do what?
Of course not. That you would even ask the question says that you really don't even know what it means to be born again.
Once again your opinion...which is void of Gods truth.

This just shows your lack of biblical knowledge.....you don’t understand what it means to be Born Again....that’s why you don’t understand God’s word in the Spirit..

Plenty of passages in Gods word how we are Born Again....hehehe...your intellectual knowledge will never find it.....only Gods Spirit can make you Born Again...which you haven’t a clue what that means...

I’ve been Born Again of imperishable seed, that liveth and abideth forever.....his seed lives and grows in our heart @JBO ...something you know nothing about.
