The Gospel not by the revelation of Jesus Christ but after the man of sin is the gospel of the upright standing empty cross.

And if your church displays such a cross it is the church of the perverted gospel of the accursed Antichrist.

“the gospel not by the Revelation of Jesus Christ but after that man of sin

thought this was where you were going with the topic. The gospel not by Revelation of Jesus Christ but after the flesh and not after the Spirit of God. Romans 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

2 Corinthians 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Gal 6:14 But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Your only problem is Paul preached the lord Jesus Christ crucified, then risen from the dead - which obviously leaves an empty cross

Our cross is empty, because the once -for -all -time sacrifice of Himself is forever over and done with- in fact Hebrews says Jesus, our eternal great high priest, did away with human priesthood’s that bring daily sacrifice to the altar.

The RC claims their priests bring Jesus’ literal flesh and blood sacrifice to the altar daily at mass, by converting the elements into His flesh and blood, thus sacrificing Jesus daily

That’s probably why their cross keeps Jesus up on the cross suffering, dying, and giving His flesh and blood daily, whereas our cross is empty, because He gave Himself once for all time, was buried in a tomb and rose again, LEAVING BEHIND THE EMPTY CROSS.

Paul did not preach <<an empty cross>>. He first preached "Christ AND, Him Crucified", which means Paul preached the RISEN Christ whom "God RAISED this SAME Jesus you crucified" (as Peter said).

Then Jesus did not <<leave and empty cross>> for future myths and fables. He left the cross - was taken down the cross - which He had hung on, as He had left his tomb which God had provided for Him to be laid down in in death, the very tomb in which He Rose from the dead again and never had <left behind> for the Roman Catholic Church centuries later to capitalize and bargain on for all its deceptions.

<Our cross> isn't Christ's cross. Neither our cross nor Jesus' cross <is empty>. The Christian 'cross' is <<the for once and-for -all -time sacrifice of Himself>> and literally and physically is <<foreover over and done with>>, in fact, is figurative, metaphysical human speech - but what makes the ONLY difference is, 'the cross' is Scripture-speech, Bible language, is, GOD'S WORD. The Word-of-the-cross therefore has power the difference between life and death because it is the Proclamation of the Gospel - Good News - of Jesus Christ.

The gospel of the upright standing empty cross is the false message the Roman Catholic Church holds up high, strutted upright and empty with PAGAN tradition, the great idol of Antichrist the false Christianity of the world. It is a cross that Jesus never carried for one step outside the judgement hall of the Roman Governer and which as such never had anything to do with the Atonement Jesus the Lamb of God accomplished.

Gods word is the sword of the spirit - Ephesians 6.

Gods word is never called a cross.

I don’t know where you’re getting all that from, but it’s not from the scriptures.

<<Gods word is the sword of the spirit - Ephesians 6.>> and many other things.
<<Gods word is never called a cross.>> You don't know the Scriptures; or you are simply LYING because you're a pugnacious puck.

But that is what I started this thread for, to sort out popehopefuls.

Your OP doesn't bear that out, since a Roman Catholic with an empty cross is an oxymoron.

Curtis, post: 1087381,
I don’t know where you’re getting all that from, but it’s not from the scriptures.

{"God RAISED this SAME Jesus you crucified" (as Peter said).} Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. 32This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted,

{He first preached "Christ AND, Him Crucified",} 1Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
