So they portray the Saviour of the world. Then for two thousand years false teachers preached this heavenly scene with a tiny little Roman soldier next its stem below on the earth with a looong javelin like spear, who came to break the Victim's femur bones with it there up high.
This is ROME'S picture of Jesus on the cross! Self-proclaimed Protestants prostrate themselves before it.
But the Gospel does not give this false impression Antichrist's creation.

NOT ONE thing about the cross of Jesus preached by Roman Catholicism is correct or true but intentionally gives a FALSE PICTURE OF A FALSE SAVIOUR, A FALSE JESUS.

Where's that 'cross'? Not OK even in your heart, because in your heart, it should be Jesus Saviour of the soul. SPIRITUAL cross or NO cross! SOUL and not blood! The Son of God the Son of Man's Life "poured out in His Soul" for "the life" that is "required in the blood" of the sinner. Now my purpose in this discussion is to show with simplicity and reality WITH SCRIPTURE, that Christianity worships another and accursed gospel of UNREALITY, of surrealness, a gospel of satan and satan worshippers if it in ANY WAY venerates 'the cross'.

Get the usual RC picture or painting of the out of proportion high, or normal life-size, 'cross', with that Roman soldier with his long spear standing underneath next to it. Is the Roman soldier supposed to break the bones - femurs - of the crucified, or is he supposed to pierce Jesus' side from beneath, underneath his lower rib, or is he supposed to do both things with it?
Such a long-distance weapon for such short, or too high to be held in hand, distance use?
That's funny to be frank, a picture with a Roman soldier standing there with his a long spear, or kneeling there with this military far-reach javelin or spear-like throwing weapon, to reach too high or too near?
And who has seen a picture with a Roman soldier standing there, or kneeling there with his military short-reach, hand-weapon sword, to reach too high on the cross to be reached while holding sword in hand, or too low to reach while standing, so that he'd have to kneel down to thrust from under below the lower rib?
No one, I suppose; it's too absurd, a kneeling down to do the job soldier!

But the real Roman close-combat sword would have looked like just right; but it would have shown the glaring farcical misconceptions which the Roman Catholic Church attaches to 'the cross' in idolatrous reverence elevated "far above all power" of the Lord Jesus, and so I suppose no-one has seen a picture with a soldier holding a sword.

So what sort of weapon did the soldiers in John 19 actually use? A javelin-like spear, or a short sword? What says it in the Scriptures, Old and New Testaments?

The Cross is not a evil image; it is a validation that Christ suffered and died in our place, HE took the punishment we all deserve on the CROSS. And the CROSS is where Christ defeated Satan and released Satan's grip on humanity.
