Yes Peter began walking on water, then fell ...

The purpose is an intended lesson. The water was simply an example.

Glory to God,

He STILL walked on water - and he raised the dead.

peter sank he took his eyes off Christ and on the storm .like what any human would do
Uh huh - and he STILL walked on water, didn't he?
He ALSO raised the dead.

So much for your asinine argument that Jesus couldn't be human because humans can't do these things . . .

Truly Anthropos, just as it says in 1 Tim. 2:5.
Anthropos means HUMAN man. Why haven't you been able to refute this??

Already did, with it's intent and meaning.
And already mentioned I doubted you capable of comprehension.

As you have been told before, I can not understand FOR YOU. Understanding according to Gods Spiritual Understanding comes FROM God, TO men, WHO have Become BORN AGAIN....and ^ BORN AGAIN men Become BORN AGAIN, by and through THEIR OWN election of God...which you have testified, you made no election, but that YOUR PARENTS made that supposed election, FOR YOU.

Once again - YOUR blunder is that you actually believe the NT was written in King James English.
It wasn't . . .

Per your USUAL, limited in thoughts and understanding per your Carnal Mind...you consistently Blurt out meaningless, snarky, false accusations, obviously intended to feed your pint sized ego and enormous self-pride.

Glory to God,
Taken

LOL...Remember when Jesus said, forgive them, for they know not what they do?

You consistently focus on the words and completely MISS the message. Awe.

No matter, what you do is plainly seen, except by you.

Ummmmmm, point me to the post where you adequately refuted the NT use of the term "Anthropos" to describe Jesus.
As I educated you earlier - Anthropos means "HUMAN" man.

Please give me the number of the post where you refuted this.

You just admitted, The Word of God (Jesus) IS Spirit (before you call Him Human).

Gods Word IS God, and God IS Spirit, and DOES NOT CHANGE. God Appears, in WAYS He has designed, as a Necessary Means to communicate (an fulfill His promises) with HIS Created Humans.
You can say that all you want, but that's not what the Bible says.

Actually on this topic he isn't giving strictly Catholic responses, it is the response of true Christianity both Catholic and Protestant. To deny the true humanity of Christ is heresy of the highest degree.

CC: @BreadOfLife

It is not about anyone denying Jesus was manifested in the LIKENESS as a man.

It IS however, comprehending, that claiming Jesus "IS" a Human man, would be contending Jesus was created out of the dust of the earth and thus required to return to dust, WHICH IS a Specific teaching of Scripture that Applies to ALL (humans)...men OUT OF the earth.
Whereas scripture reveals Jesus came forth OUT from God.

Further, contending Jesus "IS" a HUMAN man, makes Him having been Manifested, the SAME "LIKENESS" as ALL Humans....and Scripture itself, LIMITED His "LIKENESS" to that of "FAITHFUL Jews".

God does NOT CHANGE.
God does NOT become the Created.
God CAN appear in A LIKENESS He chooses.
God Himself appeared in the Flesh "LIKENESS" of a FAITHFUL servant.

Eph 1
[9] Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in ......himself: !!

According TO:

Eph 1
5] Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will...

Phil 2;
[5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
[6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
[7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
[8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Until you comprehend the difference between....IS HUMAN....and AS A MAN...
...our understanding will remain conflicted.

But yet Peter DID do it. Do you think Peter was human?

Yes Peter was A HUMAN man.

And Yes, Peter Began walking on water successfully, WHEN his faith and focus was ON the Lord...and the moment Peter deflected...he fell....and Jesus TOLD him WHY....Little Faith.

What does that have to do with you claiming Jesus "IS" a human man?

You said since Jesus did those things he could not be human. This proves you wrong.
