You did so date plent of chads. Everytime you recount those evil men you describe chad's to a Tee. And your a good woman and can so choose a good man so...it didnt work out with the good men so I went and chose the evil geniuses instead, boo hoo hoo.
No, I didn't date chads. My understanding of a Chad is "a man who is popular, confident, well-endowed, sexually active young white male. Its female counterpart is Stacy, who is often portrayed as Chad‘s sexual partner." I wouldn't have known if a man was "well-endowed", and it's not like I knew if he was sexually active...until he TRIED having sex with ME.

I didn't choose 'evil geniuses' KNOWING they were evil geniuses, up front. But once I found out, I was GONE. Did you ever get your face slapped by a 'bad girl' because you refused to date her? I have. A KNOWN 'bad boy' tried to kiss me once, knowing FULLY WELL I had a boyfriend (who would be the FIRST man I married). When I turned him down, he slapped me.

Is THAT what you think a "real" man is?

Are you for real? He wasnt 6 ft tall so isnt a chad? He didnt make 6 figures so isnt a chad?
You've reduced chad to a pre scripted definition that allows you the room no navigate your conscience and do what you want.

Except it caught up with you.
Told you before, I DIDN'T DATE CHADS.

Hey faking a southern accent is the equivilent of striking a pose online. So there!
Should I sak again? Why do women do that?!
I don't know. I haven't observed women striking a pose before. I know I didn't/don't never did it myself so...

If I had to guess, they either WANT the attention, OR, they figure, "Hey, if you're STARING at me, take a picture!"

Then again, maybe the guy just THINKS she's 'posing' but she isn't. A LOT of men seem to think that way.

I haven’t followed you all’s comments. It’s a common thing now for women to make the fish face in photos. I tell my daughters….please do not make the fish face. It makes photo worse, not better. I agree. It’s for attention. Same as…is for attention?

What? Oh come on, They had one rule they had to follow. One rule. So it's God's fault? Was He unfair? Bullcookies.

To be honest and fair I think….I think the story is too vague to understand God’s thinking or theirs. And there are a few mistranslations that give false impressions of things besides the fact that there are two separate stories which brings up some questions….But no judging God would be wrong.

It was true enough that Adam & Eve had no knowledge of good & evil, so they didnt even know what a lie was! So what did the little child of God do when he took them to the carnival? She wouldnt hold his hand and wriggled free to run off, and she got herself in trouble right away. WHo's at fault here? The parent or the kid?

Why didnt eve yell, Lord what is this serpent saying? I need your help! Why didnt Eve ask Adam if it's true or not before she fell for it?

No comment on God taking a child to a carnival…..it is irrelevant to the scenario of Adam and Eve.

Why didn't Eve yell etc.....Those are all relevant questions that I would ask. But if you notice after it all happened God is talking to Adam, so it seems that Adam is the senior of the two. Why didn't Adam refuse the "fruit?" Ultimately Adam sin twice, one accept the fruit and two blaming God for giving him and inferior mate.

The Lord knows we cant be perfect. He doesnt judge us on perfection or how we finish. He judges us by our intentions and the state of our heart. We did fail, but what did we do then? Turn to God? No, hide from God.

Hide….I think it would be normal for anybody to hide. They were scared and what was happening was way above their understanding.

I dunno. Maybe we was in heaven as spirits when Lucifer fell and were asking questions? What is good? WHat is evil? What is love? So to answer our questions he had to let us see what evil is and hate. Then we could comprehend what love is. We've obviously been intruduced to evil and death first, welcome to Earth! Something like that maybe.

Again some mistranslations….the word Lucifer is not in the scriptures….it is Latin….a language that does not exist until after Christ is born. Lucifer is Latin for the planet Venus or the morning star which are one in the same and the storyline in Isaiah 14 references the morning star. One of the mistakes in using the KJV for serious study. And we do not know exactly when Satan fell, the scriptures do not give the chronology on that.

And what did we do with our knowledge of sin that came that day? We embraced it instead of run from it. They ran so far away from God that they were able to make a bomb that would kill hundreds of thousands of people at once.

That is the question….besides fear….what did they learn from the event? Like I said were Adam and Eve any real match against the creature they encountered? Could they understand what all happened there?
After Adam and Eve were kick out what sins did they commit?

Oh stop looking for something to badmouth Adam about. It was man's fault, he sinned knowingly whereas Eve was deceived so it wasnt held against her in divine court. There was still eartly consequences to be paid for though. That's how God designed our material realm to work.

I am not bad mouthing Adam, just saying what happened and Eve was blamed for all of it. The Old Testament does not blame her but the New Testament does and historically she is blamed.
And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 1st Timothy 2:14

Is THAT what you think a "real" man is?

So they said they werent chads but then they turned out to be chads, gotcha.

You bet I've been slapped by a girl I said no to! That girl I left at McDonalds, it took her several months to catch up with me, lol. I was staying at my Mom's and I would ride the bus one stop past my stop and sneak around back to get in and hide! Until several months later, I went one extra stop and got off the bus and she was standing right there and let me have! The entire bus broke out in laughter! I was laughing too.

Is that what a real man is? I dunno, I wasnt there. I dunno if you're leaving any details out. But McDonalds girl was drunk one time playing MS Pac-Man after bowling and I was messing with her, go left right through the tunnel! And she lost her guy and got mad at me and turned around and sloshed her beer in my face! So I slapped her. It wasnt that bad. But 4 heros walked up and challenged me to fight and the bowling alley kicked us all out. When we regrouped outside, I got the better of him and all his friends didnt want none. Boy was I lucky, there were a bunch of them! It was real soon after that that I left her at McDonalds, lol.

Told you before, I DIDN'T DATE CHADS.

Yes you did. You said you didnt find out that they were chads until later in the relationship. So they played the evil genius trick and poor little ol Mink got decieved. Four times? Five? Six? I dunno, so much is left out of your stories, lol.

No, I'm sorry but you have that wrong. My work was running 5-8 different service calls to different homes every day, 6 days a week for my entire carrier (Ka-Rear) Brainlock, lol. and all of this was during working hours so daddy was at work. And privately in their home...? Oh the stories I could tell, lol. I've had women "present" to me, lay kisses on me, out and out ask me, wanna have some fun? They were expecting me and wanted to cheat. I'd see their family photos on the table, and wonder about them? And my wife would flash before my eyes, how could I do that to her? She's done nothing to me but be good to me. WHy would I rip her heart out of her chest? I dont want to be that guy. I didnt leave my wedding ring in the truck! One time a very beautiful red head just thought I looked yummy when I walked in and she was all over me right by my side and I was sorta getting uncomfortable because she was getting close to me...WHoa. And all of a sudden, dhe saw my wedding ring, and she flinched real big! Got up turned around and went and sat on the computer for the rest of the time I was there. (Good girl).

One lady was presenting, and she was a nice looking lady, but my daddy gave me some good business advice when I was yet young. Not on company time, remain professional. So I did I stayed professional and did a good job for her. And then, (Lol!) she called the office again hours later and I answered and it was her. It's still dripping...So I said bad? No but it needs looked at...Is tomorrow ok?
No can we make it this saturday? It's not bad, just needs tweaked a little, will I come saturday. I said ok. WHen I got there on Saturday...She was made up to the hilt. 1.2" of makeup, perfume and her best outfit...And guess what? It wasnt leaking. I put hand on it and it was dry as a bone. She set me up wanting sex! I said it's not leaking, it's all dry...?
And she walks over to me in the bathroom in her short dress and squats down beside me, revealing too much, and she says, gimme your hand and I'll put it right on where I felt the moisture...Wow! I stood up and said well at I like to stand by my work and it's fine so I'll be going now...
I know she got mad. But...I love my wife. I dont want to be that guy! They hang labels on those guys that stick for a long time I noticed! Not me

So dont tell me that women dont present themselves because I watched it for about 35 years!

I can see that, good point.

Well, imo, scripture says, yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...I will fear no evil. It isnt hard to look at the world and see that the world is the valley of the shadow of death, am I right? SO I thought well, then it's like a Father taking their toddler to a Carnival, and every place you go is a fun house and says, come in, come in! Many of Earths attractions are funhouses of death. Oh it may look fun on the outside and look at the flashing lights...That toddler better not let go of dadd's hand! She'd get lost instantly and get herself into trouble. And that's US!

If we're not walking in the spirit already...when the crises happens, we wont have time to pray, it's already happening and in your face. So we have to still be clinging to Abba's hand to traverse this valley of death. Abiding in Him because then He is already there and we wont have to pray for protection! We are, in Christ. We, abide there. When I left today to traverse the valley of the shadow of death, I invited Jesus to come with me and I just talked to Him and then I made a traffic infraction right in front of a cop! He was right there when I turned...! Oh I checked my rear view mirror and oh, Jesus is with me, that cop couldnt even see me! So I apologized to the Lord for the traffic infraction and praised Him as I finished driving to the doctor. It was magnificent! I highly recommend inviting Jesus to walk with us into the world.

When big bad things happen even worse than improper turns, or if If somebody tried to rob me somewhere or something...there aint time to pray! Just a minute mr Robber while I pray for myself, it dont happen like that.

Scripture says He goes before us to clear our path and make it straight,He is our rear guard, He is beside us, He is in us...I am in Christ, and I try to stay there

I could go on and on about this. WHen we abide in Him we are led by the Spirit and so must walk in the Spirit also. SO all you readers who say your morning prayers and then go to work or doing errands, and not invite the Lord to acccompany you...????!!! Is a bad move and dangerous nowadays. Abide in Him. Wake up.

I could tell you so many testimonies about the Lord savig my butt! And I'll never stop praising Him for it!

Hide….I think it would be normal for anybody to hide. They were scared and what was happening was way above their understanding.

That's right. But only because when the ate the fruit, they lost their spiritual covering and knew they were now naked and carnal. Uh-oh better hide! They died that day even though Adam lived in his body for over 900 years. They died spiritually. I think before the fall, that man's spirit rode outside his body and man shned like Jesus on transfiguration mount, and the glowing covered their nakedness. So soiritually, they died almost instantly prolly cuz they saw that they were naked and felt alone and scared.

I think Adam ate the fruit knowingly after Eve did because she was certainly beautiful and he prolly didnt want her to be alone? He loved her. Eve must have been a real knockout! Fashioned by the very hand of the Lord!

I know. Thank you, learn something new every day. I was speculating about that anyway. We had no knowledge of good and evil in heaven before the earth was even created. Scripture says He knew us before we were in the womb, so we were there before being born. I dunno how old we were! But I think someone prolly started asking questions. What does love mean, Lord? What does evil mean? (we had no knowledge of good and evil). So, maybe, who knows? We'll find out one day. :)

After Adam and Eve were kick out what sins did they commit?

They prolly pieced it together over time? What really happened that was spiratually relevant was that, mankind gave away from their choice soverignity and dominion that was given to them in the beinning. They gave it to the serpent, and it took Jesus coming and dying to make it possible for us to set it right again. Jesus won the victory already, BUT! We must seek God and enforce the victory until He comes. So we have to take the authority that Jesus granted back to us on the cross and in scripture and (not stand up!) but kneel to enfore our Masters victory upon our own volition and actions. (Like rising against the Prince of the power of the United states in spiritual warfare and prayer upon our knees. Aside from the Lord, we can do nothing. Now that we are in Christ, we must take our identity back by the authority of the Name, Jesus.

God dont want a bunch of spiritual toddlers, babes in Christ when He comes. He wants to find spiritual maturity.

Or so it seems to me.

Ok. But we all have learned that since we live in a corrupted world, there will still be earthly consequences. So it had to be rough on both of them. I dont think everyone is blaming Eve, Adam was the man and had senority and so responsibility. But earthly consequences still had to be paid by both of them.

I read an extra-biblical book once that told more of the story of Adam &Eve. After they left the garden. From what it said, they were full of all kinds of remorse and went they stood waist deep in a river...until you Lord...And I dont remember how long they stood in that river but, it was already too late. They fell. Now having babies was uncomfortable for the woman? (part of the fall)?. I'm not saying that stuff is necessarily true, but that's what it said. I think it said God did eventually come to them and told them to get out of the water or something. And here we are, several thousand years later...right in the thick of it.

Eve pretty much made an honest mistake. She never heard a motth talking liar before. But she did disobey both God and Adam as her husband and overseer. I dont blame eve. Child birth is rough. I saw both of my sons born. And never wanna do it again, lol! But it was a good experience nevertheless.

This popped up in my feed today. It's getting harder not to associate modern feminism with narcissism.

52ea5f822b069495710a2f68646f7c22.jpg

Her logic: patriarchy is wrong, therefore male loneliness can only ever be manipulation because it's patriarchy's fault they are miserable, not legitimate suffering.

Feminism has killed her empathy and turned it into anger and bitterness.

Shakespeare uses figurative language
God also uses figurative language.
Shakespeare uses figurative language, but Shakespeares use of figurative language does not give Life.
True but irrelevant.

For the @VictoryinJesus's of the world, this is not literally the case but a figurative expression. It means their mind (spirit, if you will) is closed to the truth.
Honestly it hurts me that you keep mocking as if I struggle with “figurative”.
Not mocking one little bit. Because I know you struggle, I felt being emphatic was necessary. At least you admit that you are struggling with figurative language. That's a big step. :D

I'll try again to help you. The Buddha said that calling things by the proper name is the beginning of wisdom. The whole Bible is Spiritual. Therefore, using that word to describe the text is too general and does not differentiate one set of verses from another.

Some of the Bible is literal. Some of the Bible is figurative. In fact, it is a highly figurative book. It does make it harder to understand. And many overly spiritualize mundane things like in Leviticus addressing practical healthy things to eat or avoid. Some even spiritualize Song of Songs. (When I use the term "spiritualize" in red here, I acknowledge people misuse the word. What they really mean is to incorrectly read literal text as figurative, having spiritual significance beyond the mundane, plain meaning of the words).

When John The Baptist spoke of repenting, that was literal. When Jesus said the dead can bury the dead, that was figurative. Both are spiritual. Hope that helps.

Do I need to be a literature pro understanding figurative language to know God?
Appeal to Strawman. No, you don't need to be a literature pro but since God often speaks figuratively, one needs to understand this to know God.

For instance, Jesus prayed that God would take "the bitter cup" from him. This is not referring to a literal cup filled with bitter contents. By contrast, in John 17:15, when Jesus asked God to protect his friends from the evil one, that is literal. Of course, prayers to God are spiritual.
