WOMEN didn't have any say in the 'lack of' for men. Women had NO SAY in setting up the original 'rules'.

Can't I vote for equality as far as wages are concerned while at the same time, COOK for my husband and make a nice home for him?

Oh, pleez...That "guy" said that in the 1800's. And even after women won the FEDERAL right to vote, birth rates SKYROCKETED. Hence, why I'm in the Baby Boom generation. Women have been voting for 100 years and the fertility rates are decreasing for various reasons...NONE of which have to do with feminism.

Back in them days men didnt have to submit a financial statement before the first date. Going through a drive through and then parking at the park was a fine date. Those was the good old days! 1980s. Yeah the baby boomer days.

We know you are desperate to hide behind exceptions but the facts in evidence is these 2 woman are essentially synonymous.

1. Women who refuse to take responsibility.
2. Women who are feminists.

Given that a wicked smart feminist married only a good man due to her excellent decision-making skills and her humility in recognizing him as her better half, she would be wise to defer to his judgment.

So, retreating to the man being a Buffon is tacit admission feminists are bad decision makers desperate to blame men for their choices.

Why are you making assumptions? I never said that she's not responsible or accountable. I'm saying that HE has as much responsibility and accountability as SHE does. Any time ANYONE has sex -- male or female -- there's ALWAYS a risk of pregnancy, EVEN with birth control.

Feminism both fails to address the problems that many women specifically face and the woes of society as a whole.

@Mink25 mentioned many women are breadwinners but still expected to do chores in the home.

I agree that that is unfair. The problem is that many men by nature refuse to do this at all or in a way that is up to what we desire as wives.

You could either say this is a problem with male ego and be in a tense and bitter home trying to get him to do chores he has no desire to do...

Or one of you could suggest a more traditional set up and that way husband and wife get to contribute to the household in ways they naturally are geared for.

When I stopped working, all the cooking, cleaning, and chores fell to me....all I felt was relief! It was getting done better and I had time and energy to do more things I wanted. I hated having my paycheck absorbing into the bills!!

Even basic recipes I tried were real reminders of my labor that you could touch and enjoy, unlike my paychecks!

I also enjoyed all the arguing that didn't get done anymore. Who's cooking dinner tonight? Laundry? Oh, right. I'm on it. You go figure out the money situation...Im done with that. See you when you get home, boo.

Could I dress up a little? Could I make the sandwich? Could I wipe a dish dry with a flourish and a disney style tune? Oh yeah!

I don't have to clock in somewhere. I will pick up the socks every time so I don't have to do that and explain to some manager my bathroom breaks!

It is called patriarchy. Father rule. Men being responsible for things.

The Bible tells the women in Titus 2:3-5 to be keepers at home and obedient to their own husbands so that the Word of God is not blasphemed.

When homes are choatic, children are neglected , husbands are disrespected, and no one wants to be around their family--- these same people claim to love Jesus and it makes Christianity look worse.
