This is a great vid on modern dating. The chic suggested they go out to the most expensive place in town and when he said since she planned it, he's anticipating she is going to pay for it. Her reaction as feminist written all over it. LOL
Wait a minute....
So, the guy, "Jim" asks her out on a date. He has NO IDEA where he'd want to go.
Meanwhile, she ACCEPTS a 'vague' date. Sure! I'll go out to dinner with you! Uhhhhh...wait a minute.
Meanwhile again the guy's idea of "dinner" is a midnight picnic...to a graveyard...where SHE brings the food... (yup! Actually happened to a friend of mine, years ago)
The thing about first dates is that quite often, if a man does "cheap" on THAT date, she should ALWAYS expect "cheap". And that if a man does "expensive" on a first date, she'll ALWAYS expect expensive.
Plus, there's the thinking that if a man treats her to coffee, he's hoping for sex in return. And if he treats her to a more expensive meal, he STILL EXPECTS SEX IN RETURN. And THAT comes from EXPERIENCE.
Again Wrangler, this is NOT the typical attitude of ALL feminists, nor is it the typical attitude of ALL men.
