Well it's got to do with, my favorite Western is on and I know she's out there broke down, but yesterday she was screaming that she dont need a man. Ok that's fine and her choice. But then my choice will e not to miss my Western, lol.

Why should men give women husbandly benefits to the women who say they dont need men? Give them what they want. No man, bye-bye.

Another name for this feminist "wisdom" is not committed.

Our society laments men who don't want to commit. What is it they are expected to commit to? (Unworthy women). The slang term is refusal to "wife up" such unworthy women who feel entitled to be someone's wife - even though they 'don't need a man' - and never developed virtue. And asserting equality is not a virtue.

I had a woman try to do that to me.. I met her as the contact person to go and fix something in a church. And she talked a lot about the churhes programs to help people and stuff, food bank and clothing donations and all that. I had some good clothes to donate. I took over my dad's house when he passed on and none of his stuff fit me. So I wanted to donate all his size 12 shoes and clothes that were just way too baggy for me to wear. So I told her about the stuff and she said she can have the stuff picked up for me and that's fine.

Except she came too when the pickup was made and the next thing I know she is coming over every night after work. Every night. (Uh-Oh). lol. but we got alnog well enough and I really wasnt looking for a wife so I respectfully kept my distance. Then she just sorta moved in. She "accidently" fell asleep in my reclner chair one night. Then more and more. She became a permanent fixture here. She likes the inside of my house and I'm pleasant enough to be around and extended presence in my house eventually made it obvious to me that, this girl likes me, a lot. She cooked a couple times and that was cool. So it became a question, am I to marry this girl? She really shouldnt be staying with me unless were married. Or she's paying rent, right? Lol. She wasn pitching in and wasnt a very good housekeeper. So Hmm. It's time to talk to her. We both are Believers and know very well that how to do this without sinning because it is prescribed in scripture. So I asked her if she wants to get married. She said no. That surprised me and it suddenly became clear. All this time that she has been here she has had me doing favors for her, and I would. I like helping people, especially girls. But this lady had me working on her car, working in both of her trashed out homes that she owns, and lots of little things like that and I felt like an idiot! She was taking me for my husbandly benefits while refusing marriage. I told her she had to go home.

You know what she said? Lol. No. Long story short, she's gone now, lol. I know why she dont want to have a husband. She's been divorced too long and making her own decisions...and I musta mention something in Proverbs 31 too often or something, lol!
The sense of entitlement that she tried to have over me when I told her to leave and she said no, was astonishing! And I dont simp for women.

I thought I was safe making 50 yr olds my young limit, for less drama, but I guess not.

That's odd. I guess she wanted a friendly roomate situation without marriage as a believer? It's a strange time out here. I thought that sort of thing was a goal mostly for those toward our generation (29,28yrs old).

I was sort of taught that ladies shouldn't chase...or at least don't move into a bachelor's home uninvited! My mom's advice is still something I get push back on cause the men say things are different now and we don't live in a time where men can just approach women they like without risk.

That's an understatement. She wanted a slave; someone to perform labor for no compensation.

She was a user. Lots of women use men. Women are so dramatic when they get used but it is certainly not a one way street.

Regarding entitlement, many women feel men have no right to say no to any request.

Right. That's the odd part. She got upset when he said no to all those free favors with no benefits for himself.

It's almost like the "women of liesure". We've gotten so twisted, there are really women out here who contribute nothing and expecf everything. I think feminism often fails to recognize that only women are in a position to think like this and high five each other for this mindset.

If a man can't contribute, there's very few resources for him to fall back on. It's sink or swim. And he certainly will be single.

I watched another vid yesterday of a highly entitled women. She said the only way she would consider someone her bf is if they pay her bills. The narrator suggested that not many men will be signing up for that. In the long run, this explains why many women:
A. "Hit the Wall"
B. End up bitter, angry and lonely.
Suddenly, they find their sexual market value has plummeted and have no where to go that they want to go. And that is the funny part of this entitlement mentality. There are good men out there. It's just that women have set unreasonable standards that don't match reality. Like you said, give nothing but expect everything. When the screw turns and they are on the receiving end of their own ideology, they aren't happy.

Sadly, older women are not warning younger women of the dangers of feminism.

I believe there's a place and a ministry for women who are humble and want to warn other women of the danger of not heeding God. It takes a lot of humility to use your own life as a negative example, but I try to do this within reason.

Oh it is not. Before modern times in the OT days even before Proverbs 31 wives were discussed God thought, it's not good for Adam to be alone. He needs a helper and wife. So He made Eve for him and everything worked out fine together as a team where both Adam & Eve were helping each other. Main was the protector and provider for the wife and kids, it's in his Job Description and that's ok. They were essentially married and they did have kids. But Adam had to go to work sometomes and go hunting fpr provisions for the family, he had to leave. Who could possibly stay at camp and watch the kids and keep the fire burning? Eve had to be the housewife! How is that slavery?!

I dont know how old you are but I am guessing that you are single? If marriage is slavery and Eve didnt want to be a slave, she could move out I guess. I dont need a man, she said.
But she still needed provisions for herself and the kids, and of course we know that she took the kids because they always do, right? Her and the kids really love Elk meat because Adam almost always brought that home. And she wants to feed the kids good and stuff, of course. But...she isnt organized or have the desire to walk up the mountain and kill an Elk herself and drag the 800 LB (small one) elk back to came. Adam usually does all that! It's nasty diving into blood up to both elbows and field dressing it and all that...Maybe Adam has some elk steaks that he will give her , for the kids, lol

She went to Adam and asked for some steaks and got turned down! I thought you said you dont need a man?

Well I didnt have so many people to feed anymore so I just killed two rabbits for my dinner and already ate it. Suddenly Eve explodes in anger and starts calling Adam a deadbeat dad and blahblahblah. But what pray tell, did Adam do wrong? She didnt want to be a slave and be a wife, so he let her go. WHat else can you do? If marriage is slavery then the woman must be self sufficient and not be going to men asking for the benefits of having a husband without the responsibilities that come with being a wife!

Do you change your own oil? If you break down on the highway, do you crawl underneath it and go to work yourself or do you call up a man to come help?
It is and must be a partnership. Mutual survival for mutal effort. All those things that are traditionally wifly duties is all the small stuff in life (except perhaps child bearing!) and they stay home at camp and watch the kids and keep the fires burning and even have dinner ready when he gets home from work! (That slavery stuff?)
I was married for 26 yrs and it an absolute joy to come home to warm food being set down and a cheerful atmosphere and all of the little things that (my wife did for me). She took off my boots too, that's nice. Oh I love her for that, it makes it all worth it. It makes me feel like being willing to drop anything at the drop of a hat to do a hard thing for her. Where are you broke down, I'm on my way...Appreciation and love is the currency that flows between a man & his wife fulfilling their needs within their capacity. It's more like saying I love you than it is master-slave!
To me as a man that's a silly way for a woman to think. They still need men. We still need women.
Marriage is slavery Lol!

I'm old enough to know, you are very young. And know nothing about the history of marriage in America. No matter how much you write, you prove this.

Nor, are you aware of Judaism for that matter given ours is a Judea(foundation)-Christian tradition.

As we read, there are some women who want to be subservient to men.

Every woman owes it to the future of daughters to stand against men who hate women and the idea of our having power and authority. Especially when they attempt and fail to couch that hatred in an objection to Feminism. Another topic Misogynists know nothing about.

They call us a Feminist because we refuse to be a doormat.

Me? Sure! Men, women, and little babies.

Mark 10:43-45
King James Version

43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

Are men who object to feminism all misogynists? In a neutral curious sense, I'm up for hearing why you think this is the case (if you don't mind).

Thanks for stopping by the thread.

Weak men are threatened by strong women.

Ignorant men are oblivious to the fact that God insured the continuation of our species through the power of women.

Cultural bias started the lie that women are less than men.
Patriarchy.

Prior to Monotheistic Judaism,as example, and relativity, this was never the case.

In the beginning God was a woman.

And it makes sense.
Primitive people witnessed females bleed but not die once a month. Swell, and later give birth, once every 9. Sustain that new copy of human life themselves from that birth mothers breast.

Amazing! Revered! Honored! Respected!

When early people buried their own they covered the burial place with Ochre,a red powdered mineral, symbolic of how that life began. From a gush of water and blood.

Culture claims our God today defers to mens authority. Yeshua did not teach this.
God did not create male superior to female. He created them equals from God's image and likeness.

God is not a man. God is not male. God never says that of God. The male image is cultural. Not Godly.

Thanks for stopping by the thread.

I don't believe the person with authority or power is better than the person without it. I see men and women as both bearing God's image but given different roles.

Jesus submitted to the Father. Yet Jesus or Yeshua is equal to and one with God. Women are equal to and one with their husbands in a similar way, yet I go by Scripture's account that married women are to submit to their husbands as the Church submits to Jesus (Ephesians 5:22-33) and they are both "one body".

It's true that cultures were matriarchal in the past and some still are to this day. But I don't believe matriarchy led to the ultimate success of those cultures. By success, I mainly mean technological advancement.

Jesus didn't grasp for power in His time on earth. He was granted all authority because of His submission to God's plan. Submission and service are not weakness, not easily done. They are what result in true greatness in a way that our world won't often recognize.

I do not agree with married womem being forced to serve or submit to their husbands. I see marriage as an opportunity for wives to do this out of their own choice out of love and reverence for God as their husbands lay down their lives for them.

You said God is female. I wonder what led you to that conclusion? Why female as opposed to genderless, for example?

I said,in the beginning early people saw God as female; i.e. Goddess.

God in scripture is genderless. God is spirit. Holy Spirit.

I'm sorry but you sound like you hate men an awful lot. So one or more men chosen poorly by you hurt you and treated you like a slave? That's what it sounds like. You remain bitter towards men due to some poor choices earlier in your life. You're very across the board with, men are this , men are that! ...and what a silly thing for a woman to say! Maybe some men are bad. Does that mean that others are not good? Do you treat men in real life the same way that you talk about them here?! No wonder you're Divorced! (IDK I'm guessing)...How many men have you had? How many of them were mean to you? I'm guessing less than 5?

And how many men are on earth? Yur blanket statements that Men are evil , this that...it all falls apart here. You dont have a large enough sampling of men to make such statements! There is the clue that you are still bitter. And this is a dangerous thing for any Christian, to hold bitterness in their heart towards anybody. Because in your heart that seed of bitterness will grow into a dark plant...That's why Jesus always said to forgive everyone, because He knew that it will cause us damage spiritually in our heart. You need to forgive them guys who hurt you lady...

Patriarchy.

Who said that Patirarchy makes women less than men? That would be a lie. God took woman out of what man was to make the woman. Because sometimes, all you need is two extra hands! Women help men a lot and they complete the man. So man is the head. And it is written that the women should be submissive to the man. It doesnt make her less than the man. It is a bonus for the man and for the woman.

Who cares about the history of marriage in America at this point? Now we know that God is real and true, right? So how did he prescribe the marriage between a man and a woman?

I've come all the way up to the point where you start complaining about men and their evil lies. But I didnt make the marriage rules, God did, and He said that they are one, and the man is the head. So arent you really feeling that God is unfair to women? Those are His rules! Not mans. That's the bitterness talking through you.

When we all get to heaven, guess what all men are going to be in the role of submissive to Christ, the head of the body! Just like women are now. I have no problem with that. I'll prolly look good i that wedding dress, Lol!

Lots of talk about Patriarchal unfairness. Once we're in heaven you wont think Jesus being the head will be unfair, do you?

Now can you tell me the difference between a Marriage of a man & woman and our relationship with our Lord?

Your mistake is taken no this personally.

I'm referring to the history of marriage in America. I even shared a link to assist understanding .
