God's Grace is FREEDOM....from.......trying to earn heaven or trying to stay saved.

Its designed as our REST.. our Anchor.... our Peace.

"come unto me and i'll give you REST".

We REST in God's Grce...., and allow God to work through us.

Heretics want to destroy all this, and have you up on the Cross trying to save yourself., nailed to your own self righteousness.

What you are teaching is more precious than gold or silver.

Sometimes it has to be said crudely to be understood. Nevertheless, it must be told.

It seems one with this message may think it just evaporates into thin air, but His Word will not return unto Him void, but will accomplish that which pleases Him.

Thank God for those who are not ashamed or afraid to make the Word of God known!

There nothing we can do my freind You can’t work for grace
We work because of grace.

No work without grace is of God, and no grace without works of faith is from God.

The OSAS gospel is false, friend. No Scripture says we are saved by grace through faith alone. Grace and faith alone is dead without works.

The grace and faith alone without works is preached by man only. It's not the grace and faith of Jesus, that works in us and through us by doing His will and word:

Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Grace and faith without works is dead, being alone and not from God. Man preaches his own grace and faith. God preaches His grace and faith for help in time of need to do His will.

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Jesus is not a heretic.

Spoken as a true Law keeper of his own abilities, making the Grace of God void.

Rom. 11:5-6

"Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work."

Something to Think about.

Jesus said.....>"im the way to God"...>"there is no other way"..... John 14:6 .and they took Him and murdered Him, because He told them the Truth.

Paul said...>"i have come to tell you about Christ and Him Crucified, as the only way to heaven, and the only way to stay there", and they whipped Him 4 times, with 39 lashes, each time, they stoned Him to death, imprisoned Him, told him he was preaching OSAS.... and they cut His head off, finally, to shut off his PREACHING THE CROSS...., after he wrote nearly all the NT Epistles and started many churches, and did more for Christ, then all the other Apostles combined.
Who murdered them both?
The same religious spirit, the same self righteous people, who deny Grace and the Cross, and teach LEGALISM.. (self -saving).

So, They both preached the Cross, and if you do, or if i do, its not going to be a fun time on a "christian" forum, and that is something that is unbelievable, but its true, and that tells you what you need to know, and what to expect.

Amen Brother! All because of mans pride in his works. He is proud of those works and is holier than thou as he performs them.

While totally ignoring Paul, and making the Grace of our Lord void and of none effect.

you did not show anything, but your scripture taken out of context and misinterpreted so you could justify your own self righteousness
Justifying ourselves is by faith alone, without doing the righteousness of God.

The OSAS gospel of justifying ourselves by faith alone is false. No Scripture says we are saved by grace through faith alone.

Works of righteousness FOR salvation is anathema..
Faith without works of righteousness is dead.

not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
No doing works of righteousness shows not Spirit nor washing of Christ within.

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever not doing righteousness is not of God.

there is no such thing as faith alone. and I do not preach it. so welcome to the world of lies you preach about others.
You are not saved by grace through faith alone.

And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Grace and faith are dead, if it has not works.

2 Timothy 1:9

who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

Our works with faith is dead. Our faith without works is dead.

I utterly reject that anyone who CLAIMS they have faith. but has no work has ever been saved.
So, you are saved by grace through faith with works.

They turn the grace of God to licentiousness, We are saved By grace THROUGH faith. But those who trust God will do what he says.
So, you are saved by grace through faith doing the will of God.

I also utterly reject anyone who thinks they are saved by GRACE PLUS WORKS as a legalist who has faith in self and not God
So, you are saved by grace through faith alone, without works.

we are saved by grace THROUGH FAITH. and NOT OF OURSELVES, it is the GIFT OF GOD. NOT OF WORKS....lest anyone should boast.
The gift of God is the faith of Jesus doing His works of righteousness. The gift of man is the faith of his own works without God.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

You want to boast of your works feel free. I will boast in Christ
All boasting in Christ without works of His faith, is vain.

If you are doing the righteousness of God by the faith of Jesus, and not sinning with the devil in works of the flesh, then you are doing well.

But your teaching is all over the map. You need to decide once for all we are either saved by grace through faith alone, or we are saved by grace through the faith and justified by works of His righteousness.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

There is no keeping the faith of Jesus without keeping the commandments of God.

The OSAS gospel of being saved by faith alone apart from works, is false. It's taught only by them that want to save and justify themselves by their own faith alone, whether doing good sometime, or evil sometime.

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

It's Law or Grace, Works or Faith, it cannot be both, it's one or the other.

You are following James' comments not realizing what he is saying, and outright denying Paul.

Gal. 3:10-14

"For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."

Salvation is renewable by faith, not secured while sinning.

Then said Samuel to the people, Come, and let us go to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

Being saved is only as good doing good by faith, and not sinning. If we do sin, then like the sinners of the world, we must go to the Advocate for the whole world, and be forgiven, saved, and washed.

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.

The Scripture proves that Christ must be formed again in them, that Christ was once formed in. We must be saved again, that were once saved.

For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.

If we make ourselves transgressors, Christ is not formed in us, and we are not being saved by Christ in us. Paul prays for such Christian transgressors to do so, that Christ may be formed in us again. Not for the first time in this life, but again.

Christians that sin against Christ must be saved again, the same way all sinners of the world must be saved:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Salvation is renewable, so that if we sin against God, we can have our spirit renewed rightly with Christ formed in us again.
Well, I think God will decide who is saved. There is the valid point that trying to obey the law will not get us saved since we failed it. Jesus also told us to obey the law. And he made it known that taking care of the naked, hungry, thirsty, taking strangers in, tending to the sick, etc was the law of God. The Royal law is loving God and others. Jesus and Isaiah taught that well.

Where does that put us? Not fullfilling the law in any perfect way as God the Father is perfect in his love. He can share direction that we love better and like him at times. But we are failures at the Father's perfect love. So we need the Lamb of God, Jesus the Christ to save us. Nothing short of Jesus' love for us will save us.

This is the very reason Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany. With the attachment, "the just shall live by faith." He rejected out of hand that faith + works = salvation. And so the Reformation began!

I believe we need to do the good works Jesus taught in Matthew of the sheep and goats, otherwise God may not save us. To love and obey the commandments. This is the case for most people. But no works won't save us and we are dead in sin. So I don't like to say what Martin Luther said. I'm not a reformist. But I'm also not a legalist.

Well, I think God will decide who is saved.

The person decides it.

God OFFERS the Cross of Christ to the WORLD,...John 3:16...... or as Jesus said...>"if i be lifted up (CROSS) and the preaching of the Cross), I will draw ALL people to me..

So, YOU decide if you will believe in Christ.

= Free will.

What the Christian world has lost track of, and thereby erred in the way, is joining Justification and sanctification as the means of salvation.

We are justified before God by faith in the finished work of Christ, period!

We are set apart for good works in our sanctification, which is the will of God for His children.

When we join together our justification and sanctification, the end result is rejection.

Yes, I see what you're saying. That is not what I believe. In the sheep and goats Jesus can clearly be heard saying, that if you don't do the will of God you will not be saved. So it would appear works are part of our salvation. And I simply can't deny the words of Jesus. Paul states that even with works of God that does not mean you will be saved. Matthew 7:22-23.

So when I read that Paul stated that we are saved by grace apart from works. It means just that. You're works cannot save you alone, you need Jesus for that and he ultimately decides who will be saved.

John tells us how we keep the commandments in 1 John 3:22-23.

"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave."

Our justification before God comes as Paul and John said, by faith in Christ. Then we are set apart in our sanctification to do good works, not to get saved, but because we are already saved.

Yes that's not what I believe. I believe simply that Jesus will decide if we are saved, and he will be closely watching our works in making that decision. We of course cannot judge such a complicated thing like the human soul, but Jesus can.

Here is the only thing you can do that will ensure you will end up in Heaven the day you do it, and also after you die.

Jesus said

"you must be born again".

And water can't do that for you, nor can WORKS or Commandments.

John closes out his 1st epistle giving us the assurance of our salvation. 1 John 5:13-15

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him."

My friend there is no guessing on our salvation!
