Oh, just curious.

I' thought they might have liked that particular part of the mormon thing.

I always thought any man that wanted more than one wife was a glutton for punishment! laughing7.gif

I had thought as a teenager we were going to remain in this lifestyle until Gabriel blew his trumpet and we all rose up to see Jesus. I had thought that with much joy by the way and would feel heaven as though it were just inches away.

But... We would end up getting pastors with Masters degrees in theology and who would desire to spend an hour or more in plain dialogue. In which all of that glory ceased in which it was an obvious journey from the Spirit into the flesh. In which I must cry along with Jude...

Hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. - Jude 1:23

We see Jesus and Paul taking time to preach the Word to people... it's very necessary.
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. - 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

we're all just a bunch of celestial swashbucklers searching for the buried treasures

True Christians have already found true treasure.... if you need help with finding salvation, help is available! thumbsup2.gif

Unless of course you believe your one of the ones the Lord decided NOT to "elect" in which case... I can still help cause this election bidness is bunk and not scriptural at all ya'll disagree.gif

It would be nice to send folk to seminary and come out with effective communicators every time.

Yeah well sadly seminary and bible college is where aspiring young ministers go to be indoctrinate with false doctrine.

Back when I was a youngun they wanted to send me to bible college and I'm so glad now I never went.

It took longer, but I was able to learn from God's Word from THE Teacher (Holy Ghost) rather than studying what other guys said they thought God's Word said.,

The desire of the Apostle Paul...

I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, - Galatians 4:19

When the Christ is formed you can sense the fruits of a new creature...

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. - 2 Corinthians 5:17

When it is obvious the new creature has not been formed then the most appropriate thing to do is to pause, give them a strange look, smile a little, and invite them to come back tomorrow night!

Ahoy, Big Boy Johnson, the celestial treasure hunter extraordinaire! I see you've already secured your stash of divine doubloons, and I tip my pirate hat to your spiritual success.

Now, about this "election bidness" – it's like a cosmic game of divine dodgeball. Some reckon they're handpicked for the heavenly team, while others think the selection process is a bit wonky. But fear not, my fellow cosmic voyager, for in the grand celestial scheme, we're all on this treasure hunt together.

So, whether you believe in divine elections or reckon it's a theological tall tale, let's keep the banter light, the laughs hearty, and remember that in the cosmic comedy, we're all just searching for a bit of celestial bling. Arrr, may your theological seas be calm and your treasure maps lead to everlasting joy! ‍☠️

Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. - Romans 2:1

The kind of intelligence exhibited by TulipBee would be very expensive to use. ChatGPT is incredibly dumb.

.
AI is becoming known for making things up. I've been looking for a number of quotes given that don't pass my "smell test", and I cannot find them where we're told they would be. And the style of writing of these quotes is very different from Calvin's own writing.

When you look at these posts, they are largely formula, lots of fluff that repeats in bulk from post to post. There is a vocabulary set that is limited. I personally see a number of indicators that are known to be AI. And there is a very small percentage of genuine substance, while there is some, but we're reading a great many words that actually say very little compared to the overall volume.

Much love!

Perhaps it's arrogant of me, but I'm not in the slightest bit intimidated by AI. It's only a milestone in what's been taking place for the last 100 years or so.

I would caution everyone to learn the Bible as they never have before, though, as the technology is bound to be used, whether of it's own volition or at the behest of malicious actors, to proliferate the deceptions foretold therein.

Soon enough, the proverbial "believe half of what you see and none of what you hear" will even be obsolete.

I have! And have also shared preaching from Central Pennsylvania's late great RW Schambach. My view count is nearing 4 million. - https://www.youtube.com/rockytopva

I just watched a tutorial on the new GPT-4.
Before you input the question or command, you assign a role. Actually he used the example, "Act like a pirate", then ask it to answer using Calvin's theology as well, summerize the post, answer it's key points and there you have it. Look at post #141. Then you can also combine the humor or wit of any particular person.
GPT- 4 can discuss theology while using Yoda's wording or Darth Vader's for a comic flare. One answer Tulipbee gave me sounded like it was written by a Pulizer Prize winner. Another response could be with angry tones or sadness and depression. And the library it draws from is 570 GB, some 500 million digitized books, the encyclopedia, etc.
Subscribtion is $30 - 60/m. So a real person is prompting this AI, copying and pasting our posts and prompting the various styles he wants it to answer with.
A recent success in this technology was with the problem of alignment between a person's values and the AI. Without alignment, it becomes racist . Now it can prioritize human values. Fascinating.

There you go! Great research! And it certainly answers to what we've been seeing.

@lforrest

Are we allowing AI generated content? Do we need a new rule?

Much love!

Sounds like you have figured out whassup with the been character.

The posts were sounding really out there, like they were on drugs or something!
Drugs? I suppose AI can respond to you like a drug addict or alcoholic if it is promted to play that role. I want to hear Calvin theology with Yoda's grammar - talk about funny!
