Is the Bible a higher power of human origin?no need for a Bible I guess?
Not one single verse in this post claims we need Rome, nor her popes.
Evey human individual is the church on earth, as long as they submit to the Holy Spirit, and born from above into the family of God.
Is the Bible a higher power of human origin?
Prophecy of the new covenant and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. (The new covenant church) Jn 15:1-5
Dan 2: 44 And in the days of these kings (Roman Caesars) shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Isaiah 2:2
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Micah 4:1
But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
Daniel 7:18
But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
Rev 21: 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Lk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Lk 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Matt 21:43 taken from Israel given to Peter and the apostles Matt 16:18-19 18:18 Jn 20:21 eph 2:20
1 Peter 4:11
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Jude 1:8
Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
Jude 1:25
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
Christ is king and has all authority and dominion!
Christ appointed Peter, the apostles, and their successors to govern the church and administer the kingdom until He returns in glory!
Submission and obedience to them is submission and obedience to Christ!
Like Joseph under pharaoh the king and his brothers bowed in obedience to Him as God willed!
But Protestant fundamentalists will not, for satan the first Protestant was in rebellion against God saying: I will not serve! I will not obey!
So who is you’re leader?
All those who submit and obey are Christ’s!
Those who do not are satan’s!
Christ the king!
The king of kings!
Christ is King of Glory!
Kingdom established by God!
Isa 2:2
Dan 2: 44
Micah 4:1
One, holy, catholic, (universal) and apostolic! And all nations and all people shall flow into it! All must submit and obey the king of glory!
Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
Gal 4: 22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
(Holy mother church)
Christ is the king!
Isa. 9:6-7 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Lk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Lk 2:10-11 all people!
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matt 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matt 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, (old covenant Israel) and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. (The new covenant church) Jn 15:1-5
Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Holy Mother Church!
The new covenant!
Jesus Christ is king!
We must submit and obey the king of kings!
And In the absence of the king we must submit and obey the kings ministers!
Isa 22:21-22
Matt 16:18
Matt 18:18
Matt 28:18
Jn 20:21-23
Lk 10:16
He who hears you hears me...
John 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
Biblical Example Joseph under pharaoh administers the kingdom and his brothers obeyed and submitted to him.
Christ is king and a king must rule the hearts and minds of his subjects!
All are subject to christ! Matt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power (authority) is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
1 cor 4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
The proof of true faith is humble subjection and obedience to Christ and His church!
Christ and His church are one! Acts 9:4 eph 5:32
Christ the king and His kingdom are one! Acts 9:4
Jer 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord Our Righteousness.
Christ is king and has all authority and dominion!
Christ appointed Peter, the apostles, and their successors to govern the church and administer the kingdom until He returns in glory!
You continue to be unable to produce any Scriptural explanation of why you believe that Peter is The Petra Rock.
Contrary to your own Codex Vaticanus.
I'm awaiting your explanation.
Let's examine some of your claims.
That is true. So the pope is redundant.
No king administers his own kingdom
Christ ascended to heaven
Peter and the apostles with him administer the kingdom
1 Corinthians 12
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
That is addressed to the entire Corinthian church, and thus to the entire NT Church, entirely in the plural; and in no way limits the listed gifts to only Peter, the apostles, and their successors. Peter's name does not even appear once in the entire letter of 1 & 2 Corinthians, nor does it appear in most of the books of the New Testament.
Your claim is a delusion.
So then only Christ is The Petra Rock.cause Jesus says so!
KJV
Matt 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock “I” will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
only Christ has authority to found the church all others are heretical tradition of men!
So then only Christ is The Petra Rock.
Not Peter.
As Scripture declares.
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Jesus Christ is the rock of salvation!
Peter is the rock that the church is built on by Christ alone!
Now answer???
Peter and his successors are the Leader of the apostles and the head of the church
Peter is head of the church on earth in the place of Christ
Who were "yourselves"?
Peter was Petros.
Christ is Petra.
As Scripture declares.
That is the claim of an antichrist, as the Reformers recognized and proclaimed.
the apostles, bishops, and priests
Thank God for the Reformers, and the Reformation, which liberated His True Church from the spiritual darkness and oppression of the apostate papacy.what reformers?
which of these excommunicated heretics was an apostle with authority from Christ???
there was no reformation only a satanic rebellion against Christ and his church!
Christ is the only head of the church but he ascended to heaven and named Peter to lead holy mother church here on earth
There was no office of "priest" in the NT Church.
Every true believer is a priest. (1 Peter 2:5; 1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 1:6; Revelation 5:10)
There was no office of "priest" in the NT Church.
Every true believer is a priest. (1 Peter 2:5; 1 Peter 2:9; Revelation 1:6; Revelation 5:10)
Really.No office really?
Acts 1:15-26
King James Version
15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. (Office)
18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.
20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take. (Bishop)
21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.
24 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,
25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.
26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
