Is that a Personal Interpretation?I prefer to call the tree in Eden the tree of good and bad, because Christians can make same choices today.

Its out of the Strongs. lexicon. Bad, Evil, Calamity, pick one for yourself. Is that a Personal Interpretation?
Yes, I join you in praising our God and Creator for His plan of redemption and reconciliation of all His creations. He is Good. He is LOVE.@One 2 question
@amigo de christo
And who sent His only Son Jesus The Christ, to suffer and die an awful death, resurrected 3 days later and now in Heaven. Soon to return for His sheep. That those that believe in Jesus will not suffer forever in the lake of fire, but rather, because of Him, we have the free gift of eternal life. We have God to thank for that. Praise the Lord.
Agreed. Does God create all these? Maybe, but ultimately He Himself is good.Yes, that seems to be the same as what I said, that the word doesn't necessarily refer to sin. As your Strong's quote says, it can mean adversity, affliction, bad, calamity, + displease (-ure), distress, evil ([-favouredness], man, thing), + exceedingly, X great, grief (-vous), harm, heavy, hurt (-ful).
I'm thinking, how would Adam have knowledge of evil if he didn't have an example, an evidence of evil? That being, seeing Eve pick and eat the forbidden fruit.I prefer to call the tree in Eden the tree of good and bad, because Christians can make same choices today.
The point is ... CHOICE.But who put the tree right in the middle of their garden?
Who created the cunning crafty serpent? Who granted Satan the go ahead to come into His garden?
Who gave humans the ability to disobey Him?
Who designed and created humans ability to choose good or evil?
Who knew all that was going to happen? Who had the ability to scap the whole script and rewrite it without any evil in it?
And we could go on.
There is only one Person I can think of. And is wasn't Satan.
Amen...that is how some universalists reason.....they say God takes responsibility for the sins of man because He created man, and therefore He is going to save them all in the end. Only one tiny little problem with that.......it isn't what God says or even implies in His word. Gosh, the whole bible warns and teaches the opposite, over and over and everywhere, so their reasoning is like someone who misses hitting a huge barn door from two feet away. The devil is very wise . So long as one as CHRIST they have all they need . We must heed Him .
Heeding the SPIRIT and all sound doctrine .
Eve tried to soley put the blame on the sepernt . And while he was part to blame
TAKE NOTICE Eve got punished . Because the blame game dont work ON GOD .
Adam tried to blame his wife . DIDNT work on GOD .
Satan cant MAKE one sin he only tempts them .
I was on another thread this morning and seen what another man wrote and it truly scared the socks off me FOR HIS sake .
GOD got the blame . TO which i quickly wrote .
THIS ENTIRE MESS we see in the world , HEY it aint the fault of GOD .
HE TOLD THEM not to eat of the tree . THE FAULT LIES ON HUMANITY not GOD .
AND JESUS IS THE ONLY ANSWER , the ONLY SOLUTION , only means for one to be saved and reconciled to GOD .
This ol cursed world is GONNA END and so will all be destroyed who rejected JESUS THE CHRIST .
People actually try and blame . Even GOD . but the fault lies on the one who obeys and does the evil .
Well we can often be thinking too much, unfortunately, and that is what leads astray. The little grey cells can be very rest-less, when they need to be rest-ful. At rest in the Lord in order to simply receive illumination of the truth from holy writ. The carnal mind of natural man can't figure out spiritual truths. On the contrary the carnal mind is enmity against God for the very reason that it leads astray. Why do our carnal minds want so much to figure everything out on their own? That goes to the root of all our problems really, the roots of the fall....begins with a P and ends with an E.....PRIDE.I'm thinking, how would Adam have knowledge of evil if he didn't have an example, an evidence of evil? That being, seeing Eve pick and eat the forbidden fruit.
But did he know Eve just did something evil in front of him? Or did he need to eat too and have his eyes opened to know that was an evil act?
Amen sister....and I believe it is choice by grace, as I think you would agree. It's like He gives grace to choose right to those who are willing or become willing. The point is ... CHOICE.
Yes indeed, but that doesn't mean for one minute that we can't still go astray or become false teachers. How do we test others and test ourselves? By the word of God of course.Mammal babies need their mother's milk. When we grow up we don't. We need solid food.
These mother's were once babies who required their mother's milk.
We who have been taught by Spirit appointed and enabled teachers grow up and don't need them any more.
But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
We ourselves learn how to access the Spirit directly (move away from teachers and their milk) as He teaches us so we can teach immature in the church.
How about picking 'Evil' as the proper translation; why do you want to leave that out as the truth, when it is THE Public Interpretation of the Church? It is the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil; right? Its out of the Strongs. lexicon. Bad, Evil, Calamity, pick one for yourself.
The point is; the Meaning of the Word in the Verse, the Holy Spirit conveyed to Moses...The point is ... CHOICE.
Many cannot see sister for many are blind and sit under men who are blind .Amen...that is how some universalists reason.....they say God takes responsibility for the sins of man because He created man, and therefore He is going to save them all in the end. Only one tiny little problem with that.......it isn't what God says or even implies in His word. It doesn't matter since they all basically mean the same thing. The point is; the Meaning of the Word in the Verse, the Holy Spirit conveyed to Moses...
Then, there's this...
Isaiah 5:20: “Woe to those who call Calamity good, and good Disaster; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
Why not use those Words for 'Evil' here, as a Private Interpretation?
God created all things . gave them choice too .Yet again, if you rely on what God Himself says, then it is written,
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.
If they mean the same, why are they different words then? Fine; let's reduce them to the Lowest Common Denominator; IE Evil...It doesn't matter since they all basically mean the same thing.

If you don't want to do this, then the different words have different Meanings; right?
Since the first appearance of the word is found in the Tree of Knowledge, and it means Evil; consistency demands the 'Ra' be translated as Evil, when the Context is 'Good and Evil'...
So, what really is your Objection? That this means God Authors Evil?
God created all things . gave them choice too .
hey , if i build a pond on my yard
and then PUT up a sign telling all DO NOT GO into the pond because you will drown .
And one goes into it , THEY TO blame . not me who built the pond and warned them not to go into it .
And more so imagine this
SAY someone did wander into it and began to drown
THEN I THROW THEM A LIFE PRESERVER to SAVE THEM
but they WONT GRAB IT but rather try and blame ME for building the pond .
PREACH THE DIRE NEED OF JESUS dude and stop trying to blame GOD .
GOD didnt tell man TO EAT of the tree . HE TOLD HIM NOT TO .
MAN is to blame .
NOT GOD .
AND guess what the SAME GOD gave man a way out of death . HIS NAME IS JESUS . SO I HIGHLY SUGGEST we preach that name
and be sure to make it known JESUS DONT HOLD RAINBOWS or kiss korans either .
GOD didnt create lucifer evil . HE simply gave him and all free will dude .If they mean the same, why are they different words? Fine; let's reduce them to the Lowest Common Denominator; IE Evil...

Yet if God designed His creatures to have a will that could go against His and do evil (assuming God didn't plan, choose or will for evil to manifest) then isn't it His responsibility to wear the consequences?GOD didnt create lucifer evil . HE simply gave him and all free will dude .
Hebrew does not translate well into English and Greek. You have multiple words for the same meaning in different applications. Hince, the NKJV uses evil in Genesis and calamity in other parts. The translators have to judge where the best word applies. If they mean the same, why are they different words then? Fine; let's reduce them to the Lowest Common Denominator; IE Evil...
