Hebrew does not translate well into English and Greek. You have multiple words for the same meaning in different applications. Hince, the NKJV uses evil in Genesis and calamity in other parts. The translators have to judge where the best word applies.
Okay; which word besides Evil, corresponds better with the word Peace? Light and Darkness correspond perfectly, since they are the Antithesis of one another. We're to expect the same for the word Peace. War is not in the definition, right? Should it be? The fact is, since Evil is established early on, it should be preffered here. - Or; will you at least admit the Calamity is Evil Calamity?

I make peace, and create evil;
peace between God and men is made by Christ, who is God over all; spiritual peace of conscience comes from God, through Christ, by the Spirit; eternal glory and happiness is of God, which saints enter into at death; peace among the saints themselves here, and with the men of the world; peace in churches, and in the world, God is the author of, even of all prosperity of every kind, which this word includes: "evil" is also from him; not the evil of sin; this is not to be found among the creatures God made; this is of men, though suffered by the Lord, and overruled by him for good: but the evil of punishment for sin, God's sore judgments, famine, pestilence, evil beasts, and the sword, or war, which latter may more especially be intended, as it is opposed to peace; this usually is the effect of sin; may be sometimes lawfully engaged in; whether on a good or bad foundation is permitted by God; moreover, all afflictions, adversities, and calamities, come under this name, and are of God;

It seems you are mixing Verses that shouldn't be mixed. Add another to the Mix; Christ shall Lose none. This means Judas was Chosen for Service without being Chosen for Life...

Why not Add it to the Mix? Wouldn't it be a Case of Special Pleading to leave it out? This is the way Systematic Theology works...
Why should I not mix the verse about Judas being given to Jesus with the verse about Jesus giving eternal life to those given to him?

In Hebrew its opposites. Light and dark, peace and calamity, tranquility and disruption, Good and bad. The King James uses evil as the opposite of Good. Nothing wrong with that. Peace and tranquility mean the same. It's how you want to apply the opposites in translation. Like I said, evil and bad are the same word in Hebrew.

Here is the test; will you say the Calamity is Evil Calamity? If not, the varying words used in a Translation ARE different words. If they are different words, they are not Ra...

Jesus didn't make any such distinction did he? I am not aware of any examples.
He did; he said he will Lose none...

If he said he will not Lose a Quarter, but he Lost Judas; then Judas was a Nickel, not a Quarter. Categories versus Category Mistakes...

Judas was Unconditionally Elect; right? Elected to Service, that is. Saint Peter was Unconditionally Elected to Service too, right? But he was also Unconditionally Elect unto Salvation. He did what it took to Lose his Salvation; but he didn't Lose it...

Why not??

Peter’s three Denials ~ by ReverendRV * August 11

Matthew 26:34 NIV; “Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”

Have you ever been a Christian but left the Faith? One survey I read says that 70 percent of college students leave Christianity; that’s a staggering number. Most choose their ‘newfound’ learning over their old Sunday School lessons. I have found that because of many ‘oldfound’ teachings of Theology, they do not need to disown Jesus because of new teachings; but that’s a Gospel Tract for another day. This Gospel Tract is about Saint Peter’s three denials of his Lord. Before his Crucifixion, Jesus told his Disciples that they would be scattered because of him; Peter denied this and said he would never forsake him. Jesus was soon arrested, tried, found guilty, and Crucified. Peter watched the trial from within the crowd but was soon recognized as a follower of Christ. Out of fright, Peter disowned Jesus three times; denouncing that he knew him. At his third denial, the rooster crowed and Jesus looked Peter in the eyes; then Peter left, weeping bitterly…

Earlier in Christ’s Ministry, Peter confessed that Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus replied by saying that this knowledge came from God. In the book of John, Jesus says “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my words and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be Condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” This is an amazing promise in the light of what happened to Peter; because he denied Jesus three times! In the Bible, the number three represents completion. This can be seen elsewhere when the Angels of Heaven declare that God is Holy, Holy, Holy; the fullest expression of Holiness. Peter disowned Jesus three times; there was no need for a fourth denial. If anyone could have lost his Salvation it should have been Peter. You ask, “But doesn’t the Bible say that if you deny Jesus, then you cannot be saved again?” The answer is yes; but do you know whether you are a Judas or a Peter? The Bible tells us that Peter went on to be one of the three leading pillars of the early Church. From the beginning of their relationship, Peter was Justified by Faith in Jesus and you cannot become unjustified; Peter is the ideal example when it comes to the unconditional eternal security of Saints…

After Jesus rose from the grave, he asked Peter three questions, the same question three times; “Peter, do you Love me?” Peter answered yes all three times; another example of completion. While you still live, you can return to Jesus as Peter did and enjoy the completeness of your Justification. Perhaps you were not a Christian because you misunderstood the Gospel? We have Sinned against God by Lying, Stealing, committing Adultery, etc. Our Sin causes death; an eternal death in a fiery Hell. But the Godman Jesus Christ lived a Holy, Holy, Holy life obtaining a perfect record which he will trade to you for your Sinful, Sinful, Sinful life's record. Jesus died on the Cross and shed his blood to Atone for Sin. This Atonement is applied by God’s Grace through Faith in Jesus as our risen Lord and Savior, apart from any Work we can perform to earn this gift. Be like Peter; and come home…

John 6:68 KJV; Then Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life.”

You're totally right that Jesus said he will lose none. Totally right. After that, Judas was lost. We know this much. As far as elected to service, I don't think election to service is related to the eternal life Jesus says he gives to those who are given to him. I also think the election to service idea suggests that non-believers may be useful to God without any specific anointing or commissioning which is contrary to Scripture.

But my main point is that Judas was lost. There are a lot of Bible verses about falling from grace, losing salvation, or something along those lines. I can kind guess you won't agree so I will try to look at it from your perspective. Don't those kind of verses exist?

No, I agree more than you know. It's getting late, so all I can say is that there IS an Unrealized Potential to Lose Salvation. Read my Gospel Tract...

Unrealized Potential ~ by ReverendRV * December 8

Judges 20:41 NIV
; Then the Israelites counterattacked, and the Benjamites were terrified, because they realized that disaster had come on them.

Have you realized your potential? There’s potential in all of us, so much that we can become President of the United States of America. Our parents want us to realize our potential; they help us do so in many ways. We’ve all realized some of our potential to a certain extent, right? There’s potential in all of us to achieve great things, how can we ever realize it all? Some realize their potential and are immortalized for it, and are grouped with others who have realized their potential in their own unique way. ~ Some never reach their potential in life, and fail in many ways; but isn’t this also our potential? In the movie ‘Trading Places’, we see that the scumbag Billy Ray Valentine always had the potential to be great, but the great Louis Winthorpe lll always had the potential to be a scumbag. Though this is fiction, it has the ring of truth. As I said our parents want us to realize our potential; but not like this! God is a parent too…

Isn’t it true that we’ve realized our potential both ways? ~ Have you ever told a Lie? What do you call people who tell Lies? You may not look at yourself like this, but you’ve realized your potential to be a Liar. Realizing your potential means you have brought it to fruition and it has been realized, right? Have you ever Stolen anything? What do you call people that Steal? You are not potentially a Thief, you’ve brought it to realization by reaching your potential! Have you ever Hated anyone? Jesus said that Hatred is Murder committed within your heart; you’ve realized your potential to be a Murderer. When Jesus Christ is God’s Judge, there’s no way to convince him you don’t deserve Capital Punishment. These were just three of the Ten Commandments, if God judged you by this standard would you be innocent or will you be guilty? You say, “With a hanging Judge, I would be guilty”. Would you go to Heaven or to Hell?

What you need is to realize your potential to become innocent. ~ For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus Christ is the only person who ever realized the potential to please God his Father by never Sinning. He became Sin on our behalf so we can become the Righteousness of God. Sin must be punished by God, so Jesus bore our Sin on the Cross and quenched the Wrath of God against our Sin by bleeding to death. But he arose from the grave so that he can be the Author of our eternal Life. We’re Saved by the Grace of God through Faith in the Resurrected Savior Jesus Christ, without our trying to Merit our potential. Repent of your Sins, Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord God; and join a Biblical Church that wants to do whatever it takes for everyone to reach this potential. ~ Now you are Eternally Secure; we’re to Persevere in our Faith until the end. Losing our Salvation can only be an ‘Unrealized Potential’ when God is our Father…

John 5:24 NIV; "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
