8:23 EDT, accent on the "D". Lessee, I still need to change the clock in the car, the ones in the bicycle computers, the one on the mantle my best man gave us for our wedding anniversary... how many more am I going to find over the next week or two?

For the non-US CB'ers - Here in the 'States, we turn our clocks ahead one hour in the spring and back in autumn. Good for evening bike rides, not so good for early morning dog-walks. Looks like the UK contingent go on BST a couple of weeks hence.

Hard freeze expected tonight. 20F (-6C). Bad timing; everything is blooming early this year. I brought the patio peach tree inside to try to save the fruit, but we'll probably lose the pears this year.

The patio peach has been a living-room house plant for the past couple of days. Peach blossoms actually have a subtle, pleasant fragrance. It'll go back out on the deck today.

My boss granted me another couple of days to finish my project, which is a bit of a relief. Unfortunately, I can't get the real data I need, so I'll have to make some questionable extrapolations and tap-dance around it. My boss is more concerned that the PowerPoint looks good enough to get past the Review Board. If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bull.

π-day passed yesterday with scarcely a mention. When the cafeteria at work was open, they would serve pie on 3.14. I miss that. Hopefully we'll reopen soon.

It's 42F and slight drizzle here in the Pacific Northwest. I had my morning coffee already, getting ready for my second dose.

Hey I was at the store this morning and saw a homeless person. I was concerned he might be aggressive so I gave him some room and walked a wide area away. When I turned to see where he was he was gone. I looked around but couldn't see anyone. I kinda wonder if the Lord took him. Really strange thing that happened to me this morning.

Good morning from the UK, it’s 6:30 in the morning and I am off to a day shift at the carehome soon. We have beautiful spring sunshine at the moment. The birds are singing, what a contrast to what so many are facing right now as they wake up.
