Someone that lives in Georgia from another forum told me their pollen is heavy and everything is yellow.

Yeah, that's pine pollen, and that's what we're getting in NC now.

When I lived in Pennsylvania I suffered from sinus trouble. As soon as we moved to Los Angeles in 1967, no more sinus problems! Was glad about that...but then found out we get earthquakes!

I used to be miserable twice a year in Colorado; cottonwood season in early June, ragweed/goldenrod in late August/early September. When I moved to Florida, never had any problems with anything. Even my doctor thought that was astonishing. You have to assume everything in Florida is out to kill you, whether it's pollen, alligators, 4 kinds of poisonous snakes, a rare type of scorpion unique to North America, poisonous Jabba-the-Hutt toads, hurricanes, I-95 drivers...

Pollen season now and seeing June-bugs, wasps and flying ants.
Every few weeks something else including the weather that can change by 40* day by day.
Parka and tee shirts, boots and sandals side by side all year long!

Maybe you can tell us some stories about living in Florida. Several years ago one of our news stations had a segment "only in Florida." The anchor's mother who lived in Florida would send her anchor desk child the funny or wacky stories to put on the air.

A couple of the news anchors were originally from Florida...they got a laugh out of the stories, too.

:shine:Thanks for the greetings everyone.

Going to eat now and watching an old Glenn Ford Western I've never seen on the Grit TV station. He's always good.

Been trying to get out on the building's patio for a bit to get more light. Sometimes see a neighbor walking by.
Sounds fun! Sun is nice to enjoy. Hope the weather has been OK for you down there.

There is a great horned owl I think I might have noticed the other day.

The past few weeks we have had severe weather in my area but so far barely missed us and they went north and south of us.
Ditto. Also getting edges of severe storms last few weeks. Heavy Rain and winds, but our buildings all sit on high ground and the valleys handle the flooding.

Saying hello but signing off now.

Been nice and warm but getting cooler again in Los Angeles. Might have a little bit of rain on Friday. Hope so.

Today will do an errand in downtown...need to take the taxi. Wish I could hop on the subway like I used to!
