We obviously do not understand what a spiritual body is after the resurrection. The reason I say that is Jesus in his resurrected/spiritual body visited his apostles and they felt him and he ate mortal food with them.

So Jesus had a body that had mass after the resurrection. Whereas we usually think of spirit bodies as similar to wind with no mass, so obviously the resurrected/spiritual body is a different kind of body than we are accustomed to.

One person tried to explain that Jesus used his body to meet whith his apostles and eat with them, and then on the way to heaven discarded the flesh body and went to heaven in his spirit body. I told him to refine that thinking just a little, and I never heard back from him.
