Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?​

My answer of course is a big solid fat - No.

You can't just pretend to believe that God sends people straight to hell and then soften a blow when death comes about.

I believe that Yahava, who sent the Lord Yeshua, the messiah - who has had victory over all things today "Hell, Satan, Sin, Death (Spiritual death), the false prophet, the beast" does not send people to hell because hell gives up it's death in Revelation, therefore it can not last forever. There is the lake of fire that is in front of the Lamb, which one can assume rubs away all the darkness of an individual, and allows the only remaining good part of them alive be it small or very little. That is a good God, who loves, and who purges away darkness, however it seems that when Yahava, judges those who are not properly clothed are thrown back out of the kingdom into darkness, those who wanted nothing to do with God in this life are also resurrected and given a spiritual body that resides out in the darkness. There seems to be a city that God had established in the afterlife, that similar to the temple that was set up on earth. The outer court (the way), the inner court (the truth), and the holy of holies (the life), and everyone who believed start out in the outer court. While those who wanted nothing to do with God are outside of the gate in general.

To me everyone goes to the heavenly Realm, either outside or inside the kingdom.

What we call hell is empty right now. the Biblical name is the Lake of Fire.

When the lost die, they go the place of torments spoken of in the account of Lazarus and the rich man awaiting being cast into the Lake of Fire.

The answer is majorly will go to sheol. It's holding place for the spirtualty dead or wicked. Psalm chapter 73 and Luke chapter 16 to document.
Thiers misunderstandings between hell and lake of fire.
Hell is another word for sheol. It's holding place for the spirtualty dead. Ot doesn't mean thier going into lake of fire.
Jesus is merciful and patient God. Deuteronomy chapter 29, people bring curses and wrath on themselves. They wont repent and enjoy listening to false preachers.
One of God's commandments is, to have no other idols before Me.
Traditions of men and false doctrine is idolatry. Thier breaking one of God's commandments.
These hirelings entrapment of Christian people. They withhold the truth and teach tradition of men.
Now we understand why many people end up in sheol.
Those in Sheol have opportunity to find eternal life at end of millennium.
Those who hate Christians, hate God and despise His laws, on judgement day, this group will go into lake of fire with satan. Documentation, second esdras chapter 7.

There is no literal eternal suffering. Only blind guides teach it as literal.

I tend to believe in Age-during punishment, something that only last until a person decides to turn towards God, and I also believe that the Lake of Fire that comes from God, may be something that purges darkness away from those who seek after the truth of Christ after this life perhaps?

Because of the final chapters of Revelation 21, and 22, and God being a consuming fire, and God is good, and God is love, he is able to save his creations from being annihlated (but for the devil, the false prophet, and the beast, they are said to be in the lake of fire forever.)

I could be wrong, but Idk for sure, and I believe that God will get his will that none shall perish, and all will come in their own time to come to Christ Jesus, however the resurrection of condemnation is for the unbeliever, and the resurrection of life is for the believer.

Correct, which has me scratching my head why you take the 144,000 as a literal number? It's clearly symbolic! Why can you interpret Hellfire etc correctly but not discern the number of the elect?

God set before all-Deuteronomy 30:19--LIFE or DEATH-actions proves one choice= Learning and obeying EVERY utterance from God and his son.
At Rev 20 we see the wicked get destroyed=eternal death. The lake of fire = eternal death. Its why death and Hades are thrown into it to destroy them eternally. Satan and his angels sinned-the wages of that = death.
At the resurrection-all have already been judged for past sins and death was the wages paid for those sins. They cannot be rejudged for the past sins. Thus at the resurrection, all get an opportunity to learn and apply Gods will with no satan influences there for the 1000 years. But they will get tested when satan is loosed for a little while. the faithful get names written in Gods book of life, the unfaithful who follow satan get destroyed. Rev 20 explains alot of that.
A very loving provision by God to give them a second chance. None born perfect( Adam, Eve, satan and angels) get a second chance.
